Cassandra's POV

During my college days back then it was a plain and simple life until I met Bret.

"Babe I will go with them" paalam niya sa akin.

"Don't tell me iinom na naman kayo?" I said.

"Babe of course but don't worry I'll behave" he said smiling and kiss me in the forehead.

My relationship with Bret at first was good. We both love each other but later on he change a lot since he had a family problem. I tried to understand him because I love him but sometimes I keep asking myself if it still all worth it.

I keep asking myself with that question while looking at the bruises on my body while crying. We both live a the same roof his condo before he never lend a hand on me but now I don't know.

"Bret stop please" I said while protecting myself.

"Are you really cheating on me?!" he shouted.

"No! Sinsiraan lang nila ako sayo. Bakit ba di ka maniwala sa akin mas kilala mo ako" I beg.

But he did not listen. All of our things are messed up. My body feels the whole pain, later on my added bruises will be visible again. He also punched me near at my mouth that cause my lips bleeding.

"Please tama na!" I shouted in the scared of losing teeth. When she saw the blood on my lips he stop and look at me.

"Sorry I didn't mean to hurt you I was just angry" he said while caressing me.

And with that just words I forgive him over and over again.

Maybe you will hate me cause I'm a masochist but I love him that's why I keep on understanding him. His mom left them, his dad don't care about them that's why I won't let Bret left alone, that's why I stay with his side dahil sa situation niya ngayon he can commit suicide any time.

"Shiz Cass look at you!" Demi said when she saw me at the campus.

"Please not now Demi" I please.

"Not now huh? Look at yourself Cass this is not right. Iwan mo na si Bret may sayad na yun na utak para saktan ka niya ng ganyan" galit na sabi niya.

"He just got mad when he knows that I cheated on him" I said.

"Pero di naman di ba? Gossip na naman yun nga mga bitch na may gusto sa kanya. And that stupid Bret he's an asshole iwan mo na siya. Don't let it happen na next time you are a corpse" she said.

"Hey!" Bret said when she saw us.

"Demi alis na ako" I said and pack up my things at sumunod na kay Bret.

We ride on his car and I don't know kung saan kami pupunta. I was scared and worried too cause now I don't really know him now, di ko na alam ang tinatakbo ng utak niya. I'm scared that he would hurt me again.

"Saan tayo?" I asked.

"Mall" he answered and I just nod even though it's so confusing.

We really go to a mall. We shop, watch and eat like a normal couple together, just like us before. Sana ganito na lang lagi. I don't know kung bakit ganito I'm just thinking na bumabawi siya sa nangyari.

"Babe I think it fits for you" he said while handed me a flowery dress.

I just look at it. I don't know how to react on him this time.

"Fit it in the fitting room babe" he said smiling.

I felt some tears on eyes praying Bret will stay like this. I miss his smile, I miss the old Bret that I love until now.
