Chapter 27

Jenna's POV I was riding with Carter and Kayla and Tommy and LeClaire were driving separate. Kayla was in the back with me. we get to the hospital and run inside. "Luke Bryan?" Mama says. "uhh yes ma'am. room 304." the lady said. we all ran down to his room. I was the last one to walk in. He had IVs and all kinds of machines hooked up to him. I took one look at him and dropped to the ground crying. "Its all my fault. I did this to him." Tommy ran over and scooped me up and took me into the hallway and sat me down in a chair. "Look Jenna. None of this is your fault. He was being stupid. Please sweetheart. Calm down and know that it's not your fault. Ok?" "ok" after I got myself cleaned up we walked into Luke's room. His doctor then came in and told us everything "Mr.Bryan has a concussion, a broken wrist, whiplash, and hairline fracture on his rib. None of this requires surgery. The rib will heal on its own. We will put a cast on his wrist, painkillers for his neck, and medicine for his concussion. He should wake up in the next few minutes." the doctor said all that and walked out. I walked over to Luke's bed and sat down in the chair beside it and held his hand.

After about 5 minutes I felt his hand move. I looked up and saw his eyes opening. I turned to everyone and said "he's awake y'all!"

Luke's POV

I slowly opened my eyes and realized I was in the hospital... What the hell? I looked over and Jenna was holding my hand and crying "Jen what happened?" "We'll after I told you to leave you started driving and you hydroplaned. You have whiplash, a broken wrist, a hairline fractured rib and a concussion. they're giving you medicine for all of it and a cast..." She started to trail off. " Im sorry this happened Luke." by this time it was just me and Jen in the room. "it's my fault Luke. no matter how many times anybody tells me it's not my fault I know it is. Im so sor-" I pulled her down on top of me and cut her off with a kiss. "Jenna you listen to me. It is NOT your fault! I shouldn't have been so stupid and drove as I was crying it wa-" "wait... why were YOU crying?" she said still a little upset. " I was crying because I thought I had lost my whole world and the one person who completed me..." "Luke... I love you! How could I not forgive you?" "so you forgive me?!" "Of course Lukey." I love it when she calls me that! She leaned in for a kiss the we separated when the door started to open.

Jenna's POV

Me and Luke are all good now. We were kissing until the door opened. it was the doctor. "hello Mr.Bryan how are you feeling?" "I'm alright except I've got a little bit of a headache." "Ok that's normal, but ill get you some pain reliever for that. But right now we are going to put on your cast. What color?" "what colors do you have?" Luke said. "well we have blue, red, green, orange, purple, black, and pretty much all the basic colors." Luke looked at me and said "What color baby?" "ummmmmmmm red, for the bulldogs!"

They got the cast on and all that mess. Some of Luke's family was here. Kelly was here! I'm excited! I have met her 2 times and really like her! Chris is here of course and Some other relatives.

"Hey turd." I said to Chris as he walked into Luke's room "Hey turd. watcha doin?" "well apparently I'm laying in a hospital bed with my boyfriend... what does it look like?" "Oh well someone is sassy..." he said in a girly voice. oh Chris... ya gotta love him!

The rest of the day went on. They said if Luke keeps improving he can come home tomorrow evening! I'm excited for him to be home!! me and Luke talked for a while but soon enough I fell asleep cuddled up with Luke.
