She opened her eyes to faded lilac purple walls, the sun was drifting in from the white trimmed checked window. She sat up and looked around her 'This isn't my room.' She thought.
'Finally, you're awake.' A figure strolled out from the shadows. Her body stiffened. He glided soundlessly on the floorboards as he walked over to her beside and sat down. 'I'm Jethro.' He said holding out his hand. She reluctantly took it and shook.
'And I...I...'
Jethro chuckled to himself. 'You're Georgia, I presume.'
She meekly nodded 'How did he know my name?' Her confusion must have shown on her face as a smile went over Jethro's lips, his pearly white teeth shone as his lips parted in a perfect smile.
'Aly told me your name.'
Georgia's head shot up at the mention of her best-friend and she frantically looked around Jethro 'Do you know where she is?' She asked.
'Oh, she's somewhere around here.' He said with a lazy wave towards the door. 'But don't worry about them, I'm much more interested in you.' Jet said, his icy blue eyes raked over her, taking in every point of interest. Her black hair, so dark it puts night to shame, her eyes were a rich emerald green, like the colour of rolling hills in Switzerland. Her skin flashed almost white against her hair, washing out an already pale skin tone. Georgia squirmed under his gaze and climbed out of bed quickly.
'Look, I really should find her.' Georgia tried to say with conviction.
Jet glanced towards the door and a smirk spread over his face. 'I wouldn't disturb them right now, not if you know what's good for you.'
'Them? Oh, Chad's with her.' Georgia thought. Jethro's smirk turned into a genuine smile and Georgia was instantly captured by it. She stared down at her feet, trying to maintain some self-control. She noticed her bare legs, a shirt that wasn't her own, barely covered her.
'Where are my clothes?' She stated.
Jet's hypnotic smile vanished. 'Gone.'
'What do you mean gone?'
'They were trash.'
'They were my mothers and I want them back.'
'Fine.' Jet rolled his eyes. 'But if you open up that door there is more in there.'
'Wait.' Georgia stopped. 'Did you put me in this?'
Jet looked her up and down, admiring the way the shirt draped off her small frame. 'Oh, I wish I could have changed you, just to take a peek at what's underneath.' He bit his lip, fantasising about that interaction.
Georgia focused on the single wooden door that Jet had pointed to, desperate to get away from his oppressive gaze. 'Well, how did I end up here?' She said opening the door.
'We found you sleeping outside and Aly refused to leave unless you came with us.' Jet said leaning back into the bed.
'And where are we?' Georgia said turning to face him.
'You ask a lot of questions you know that.' Jet laughed.
Georgia pushed open the door in front of her and was surrounded by clothes. The walls were lined with dresses, coats, tops that her fingers ran quickly across. She searched in draws to find jeans, pants, t-shirts, skirts, everything perfectly presented as if waiting for her to show them off. She quickly shut the door, ignoring Jet's presence on the other side as she quickly changed into jeans and a t-shirt, the sizes fitting her perfectly. She pulled the door open to find Jet lying down on the bed, staring at the ceiling. She was going to get answers out of him.
