He gently brushed her hair off of her neck, his nails scraping her flesh and tainting Jet's tender touch. 'Such beautiful black hair.' He ran his finger through it. 'Reminds me of someone I used to know.' His nails dug against her cheek as he stared into her face 'And your eyes, I've never seen such green eyes on a human before.' Nick kissed Georgia's exposed neck, she tried to pull out of his grasp, his grip tightened, crushing her against him.
'If you don't move, it won't hurt... much.' Nick whispered into her ear. She closed her eyes, willing the tears to remain hidden and nodded. His serious face broke out in a smirk. 'Good.' He purred.
Nick kissed her neck again, she turned to look at him, determined to see the weapon he wielded and in the moonlight she say the glimmer of two pearly white...fangs. Georgia's green eyes glazed with terror, a sharp pain ran down her body as Nick ripped the skin in her neck. Nicks hand clamped tighter over her mouth, freezing all thought of a help. Georgia became woozy, her eyes drifting closed as her knees shook, crushing together as all her strength was pulled out of her neck, tied together with the blood Nick took. She sagged against him, knowing he was the only reason she remained upright. A cold breeze danced across her neck and Nick raised his head, blood coating his chin. He let go of Georgia and she flopped onto the sand, her face crashing down first with no strength to stop it.
He leaned down, making sure Georgia saw her blood streaked across his chin. 'I was right, you do taste as sweet as you smell.' Nick said licking his chin of her blood.
Georgia looked up at him using her strength to finally see his face and piercing grey eyes stared back at her. Her eyelids drooped shut, she couldn't keep them open. The darkness was closing in on her. Nicks laugh rang through as she slipped into the world of eternal darkness, into the world of death.
Jet ran outside, having long since abandoned the girl. He thought Georgia had come back but Aly hadn't seen her. He ran down the hill, knowing she had run off this way.
'Georgia.' Jet yelled, panic creeping into his voice.
Only the waves responded and the darkness drifted off with his voice. Jet could feel that something was wrong and he sprinted down to the edge of the beach where Georgia's heels lay. He continued off down the beach, praying that he was just over thinking and that she wasn't hurt. A dark lump drew closer as he ran, he finally noticed the paleness of the legs, the way they absorbed the moonlight, lying motionless across the sand.
'Georgia.' Jet screamed.
He stumbled as he ran towards her, he skidded on the sand as he looked over her body, searching for wounds. Blood was trickling out of neck, her heartbeat sounded faint, her breath too short. She had lost too much blood, she was dying. Jet had seen too much of it in his lifetime to take a second glance. He grabbed her hand, he wouldn't lose her, he couldn't.
'Have you ever tasted her blood?' A smug voice called from behind him.
'Nick.' Jet turned snarling, and there he was, a smirk on his face.
'It is very sweet.' Nick said, slowly sucking the last bit of blood of his finger tip. 'You should try it, you will love it.'
'If she dies, I will kill you.' Jet snarled.
Nick laughed. 'You couldn't beat me, I am stronger than you.'
'What about me?' Nate called from the darkness.
Nick turned around to see Nate, with his arms crossed in front of his chest and a scowl on his face. 'Leave Nick.' Nate growled.
Nick smirked. 'Why should I?'
Nate grabbed him around the neck and started to choke him. Anger pooled behind Nate's brown eyes as he growled and threw Nick back onto the sand. 'You know why.' Nate spat.
Nick scrambled up to his feet and ran off into the darkness. 'Have fun trying to save her.' He called out, his words being crashed out by the waves.
Georgia was growing paler as Sam came round to the other side of Georgia. She stared at Jet with pain in her eyes.
'Jet, you know what you have to do.'
Jet shook his head.
'Jet.' Sam yelled. 'Do you want her to live?'
He nodded slowly.
'Then you are going to have to do it.' Sam pleaded.
'What if she doesn't want it? What if she would prefer to die? What if she thinks I am a monster?' Jet stammered through questions that were flogging his mind.
'JET!' Sam screamed, breaking him out of his stupor.
'Calm down Sam.' Nate put a hand on Jet's shoulder. 'I'm sorry but if you want her to live, you are gonna have to do it.'
'I'm sorry Georgia.' Jet muttered under hisbreath as he brought his wrist to his mouth and bit down.
