Jet was relaxing in the lounges in the foyer when Georgia walked in and sat opposite him. It had taken another 2 grilled cheeses before her belly felt full.
'So, what do I do?' Georgia asked.
'Talk to me.' Jet said, gesturing to himself.
'About what?'
'Think of something. It shouldn't be my job to tell you.' He rolled his eyes.
'Asshole.' She thought.
'See.' Jet's eyes lit up. 'Like that, but direct it at me.'
'Can you read everyone's thoughts here?'
'Yes. I've been told it's rude to do it without permission though.' He smirked.
'Then why do it?'
'It's fun.' He shrugged.
'Invading someone's personal space isn't fun.' Georgia scowled.
'As I said.' Jet drawled. 'I've been told it's rude. Now you either talk to me in here.' He pointed to his temple. 'Or not at all.'
'This is stupid.' She thought.
'You're stupid.'
'Nice comeback, what are you, twelve.' Georgia pushed the thought to Jet, directing her energy into it, dripping with sarcasm.
'Look at that, working your way towards actual conversation.' Jet got a wicked grin on his face. 'For you.' An image of her face, her green eyes darting down his body as she slowly kissed her way down his jaw line, kissing the hollow at the base of her beck before moving down his chest. Her fingers tracing across his stomach as she reached his pants line.
'What the hell.' Georgia said standing up, disgust clear on her face. 'I'm done.' She stormed off to find Aly. She could hear Jet chuckling in the background.
Aly and Sam were sitting outside on the bench seats in the back garden. Georgia stormed out the glass door and sat down on the steps.
'Before you ask, yes, he has always been a dick.' Sam said, moving her face closer into the sun.
Georgia looked up at Sam. 'How can you stand that, aren't you meant to burn up or something?'
Aly scoffed. 'I asked myself the same question when I got here.'
Sam sighed. 'The suns not that dangerous.'
'Doesn't it hurt though?' Georgia asked.
'Yes, imagine being stabbed with needles over every inch of flesh that is exposed to direct sunlight.' Sam said.
'Then why do it?' Georgia queried.
'Because, I love the sun too much. I couldn't live without it.'
'Or Nathan.' Aly added.
Sam shot Aly a sidelong glance and Aly just innocently smiled up at her.
'I need a drink.' Sam said stalking off.
Georgia listened to the door shut before joining Aly on the bench.
'What's up with her?' Georgia said gesturing to the long brown hair still visible in the kitchen.
'Nate and her have been going on for years, they just don't want people to know but everyone does. Enough about her. How are you?' Aly said turning towards her best friend.
