Nate turned on the car stereo, the base having no effect on Jet's knotted stomach. Nate and Sam threw sidelong glances at each other eager to spill the secret.
'Nate.' Jet called leaning forward. 'Where are we going?'
'Down to Matt's place. You know, the one on the beach.' Nate said keeping his eyes on the road. 'Please don't get in another fight this time.'
'Like it was my fault.' Jet thought leaning back.
'Jet, it may not have been your fault but you didn't try to stop it.' Sam scolded him before turning back to her out of tune singing and silly dancing in her seat. Jet rolled his eyes and looked out the window.
'Sam, you look like a chipmunk.' Jet laughed under his breath.
Sam turned around and glared at him, Jet just shook his head and she beamed out another cheesy grin before returning to her singing and dancing. Nate laughed under his breath. Jet was already bored and the niggling feeling in his stomach hadn't left. Twenty minutes of listening to Sam sing crap music, they finally arrived at Matt's place. The party had already started, the music pounding as they approached. Nate slowed the car down to a stop and parked in front of the house. Jet swaggered out of the car and immediately heard the screaming of girls, a smug look came over Jets face as he watched them all swarm, pushing and shoving past each other, trying to get closer to Jet. Nate patted Jet on the back and Jet's bored look cut across to him. Nate had a massive grin on his face, he looped his arm with Sam's and left him alone. Jet faced the group of girls and scanned through the group, trying to find the hottest one. He walked over to some beautifully fake platinum blonde, big breasted piece of ass. Then he saw her. Standing in the doorway, her green eyes wide, staring back at him.
'Georgia.' Jet muttered under his breath.
She looked absolutely stunning, dressed in a short black skirt that ended halfway down her thigh, paired with a black singlet that had embroidery around the edge. Her hair hung loose down her back and her dark makeup brought out her green eyes. Jet instinctively walked towards her, dragging his chosen girl with him. Her face hadn't changed, those large eyes trying to take in her surroundings and her rosy cheeks bringing colour into her pale skin. Jet just wanted to reach out and stroke her cheek but she ran off. Jet sighed and turned towards the blonde next to him, he snaked his arm around her tiny waist and pulled her closer. They walked into the party like nothing happened.
Georgia searched through the party looking for Aly, her body shook, to have him stand so close and he looked at her with care in his eyes. Aly was with Chad in the corner, both were wrapped around each other they were like two bodies moulded into one.
'Alyssa.' Georgia screamed storming over to her.
Aly pulled away from Chad and turned around.
'You never use my full name. What did I do this time?' Aly stated a hand on her hip.
'I...Well...Umm...I need to go home.' Georgia blurted out.
'Why? Your dad said you get to have the whole weekend with me.'
'Because, Jethro is here.' Georgia seethed.
'Dude, relax. He is a party guy, I'd be more surprised if you didn't see him. Besides wasn't the point to show him what he was missing out on? Go have some fun.' Aly shooed her away with a wave of her hand.
Georgia walked outside, heading towards the only safe place she knew of, where she could be alone but still be part of the party. It looked like a long forgotten memory, the green grass swaying as it rolled down the gentle slope. Spanning across to the sand as they simply existed together. She found the spot where Nate had first spoken to her and then she fell asleep looking at the stars, she stared up at those same stars, hoping for some kind of guidance.
