Aly stared at the mass of shelves they were yet to sort through. She shuffled her feet to a new shelf and started scanning titles, looking for anything that concerned Alice Grove. She glanced down at the trolley, already spilling over with books and pulled it towards the hunched frames of her fellow werewolves.

She flopped down into a chair, her body ached from the same position she'd had all night and her eyes were tired from all the small, almost indecipherable print she had already read.

They needed a better system for finding books.

'No rest for the weary, Alyssa.' Nate chuckled, his glance noting her tired face.

Aly glared at him. 'It's Aly, Nathanial. And I'm over finding books.' She snapped.

Nate pointed to the trolley, his eyes never leaving his page. 'Then start looking through the books you have found.'

Aly groaned, her head resting on the wooden desk and Nate stifled his amusement. She picked up the first book like it was diseased. Its worn blue cover grated against her fingertips, its silver letters shone out.

'The Grove family history. Great, history.' She said sarcastically. 'You know I failed that subject.' She glanced across to Nate, hoping he would read between the lines.

Nate shook his head. 'You'll be fine.' He answered.

Aly could feel her blood boil with rage, at Nate's insistence that she do such a ridiculous job. She was not made to spend her night reading. A feathery touch stroked her arm.

'Need any help?' Chad looked across to her. He helped in soothing the crackling fire behind her eyes.

Aly let out a deep breath, her anger ebbing away. 'That would be great.' She said, handing over a book.

She watched Chad delicately crack the cover, his slender fingers scanning the page and his eyebrows slightly furrowed.

Aly knew that was his concentration face.

It was the first thing she remembered seeing when they found her. She shook the memory from her mind, not wanting to get those in those dark thoughts and turned her attention to the book.

Aly scanned the book, looking for any key information regarding Lady Alice Grove. All she found was a brief sentence about her disappearance. She dropped the book and started again.

Hours passed, the pile of useless books grew. One last book in her pile was left, waiting to be read. Shivers ran down her spine as she reached for the book. Chad noticed and watched her movements.

'Are you okay?' Chad asked.

Aly numbly nodded her head, deciding not to tell him the truth.

'Unsolved Cases.' She sounds out each syllable, afraid of the flat text.

She opened the book to any page, like ripping off a band-aid and a picture of Lady Alice Grove stared at her.

She looked exactly like Georgia besides the fangs.

They even shared the same necklace, which seemed impossible. Aly couldn't look at the image any longer and searched the page for any relevant information but the image had already been burned into her mind.

Lady Alice Grove was the youngest child of Lord Peter Grove and Lady Veronica Grove. She was born on the 16th August, in the year of 1492. Born in England during times of struggle and disappeared soon after this painting (on right) was completed in June. Supposedly, she never made it to her 17th birthday.
