He looked around the room, trying to figure out their reactions. Nate was silent.

'What's her name?' Nate said quietly.

'I donno, the story never mention it.' Jet shrugged.

Nate stared intently at him. 'Think.'

A name, popped into his head like a light finally surging to life.

'Alice.' Jet breathed out. 'Alice Grove.'

'Who's that?' Aly asked.

Nate took on the task of explaining. 'Lady Alice Grove was a vampire noble, born in 1492. She was beautiful and highly sought after, every guy wanted her and every girl envied her. Nick fell in love with her, which isn't surprising. She was perfect, ethereal. Then one day she disappeared, never to be seen again. The last person to see Alice was the artist who was completing her portrait.'

'But the legend doesn't stop there. They say her family cursed her when they found out who her lover was. She would appear every century and reveal herself to her lover when she was sixteen. But she would never know who he was.' Jet continued, excitement creeping into his voice.

'It's heartbreaking.' Sam cried softly.

Aly's jaw dropped. 'And you think Georgia is this Alice.'

'I don't think anything, I know she is and Nick trying to set her free.' Jet said looking towards Nate and Sam.

'Wait, wait, wait.' Chad said interrupting everyone's thoughts. 'Isn't that a good thing?'

Silence trailed Chad's words.

'I donno.' Jet whispered, curling into his thoughts like a sick dog.

'We need to save her.' Sam whispered. 'We can't let Georgia die.'

'What will happen if Alice is free anyways?' Alice asked innocently.

They all looked towards Nate, hoping he had the answer.

'If Lady Alice Grove is free, she will take her rightful place as queen of the vampires and all vampires will be subjected to her commands. Hopefully most of Georgia will remain but.' Nate stopped, carving out a memory and turned towards Jet. 'You remember the incident last century. Just before we left England.' Jet nods. 'That was Alice.'

Jets eyes grew wide with terror, remembering that terrible day, the fear that had gripped him and Sam as they made their way to the docks. Nate screaming at them to leave. The smell of burnt blood flooding his nose as they ran past. Humans screaming in the streets. They had tried to help but it was useless, they had found some children, screaming for their parents either gone or dead at their feet. They needed to save them, Nate had managed to get a small group out and onto the boat. But the journey was rough, on all of them. Two died on the boat and given a watery burial. Nate had been taking it hard, he blamed himself for their deaths. The rest, they raised here in this house. Until they chose to leave, their minds forever altered by their childhood. That day in England went unrecorded, its mayhem only known to those immortals that survived and the humans who willed themselves to forget. Jet look over at Sam, the trauma playing out on her face, mirrored by Chad.

'I miss them.' Sam said, trying to fight back her tears. 'They made such a terrible thing have purpose and bring joy.'

They shared a weak smile with Aly looking confused between them.

'I just want to say thank you to them and know if they found their happy ending.'

Jet smiled. 'Then you'll love this.'
