Georgia, Sam and Aly arrived into the city. Sam seethed, annoyed at the traffic. They parked in any available spot and set off, in search of some good shops.

'I know the perfect place.' Sam said grabbing Aly's and Georgia's arm, dragging them off in an unknown direction. They stumbled behind Sam, as she walked fast but with such elegance and grace towards this mysterious shop.

'Where are we going Sam?' Georgia asked.

'You'll see.' Sam said with a devious smile.

Georgia's stomach did knots, she was worried that this wasn't going to go well. She turned to Aly and saw the same look reflected back at her. They stumbled after Sam, counting their breaths.

All at once, a dark alley surrounded them. Sam gazed lovingly own the alley, a bright smile planted on her face. She walked with purpose down the alley, not checking if we had followed her.

Aly nudged Georgia's arm. 'Don't worry. I'll protect you.' Her genuine smile reassured Georgia and Aly walked into the darkness.

Georgia followed close behind hr, stumbling and tripping over things hidden in the darkness of the alley. Georgia swore to herself as she stubbed her toe, once again on a plastic crate. 'I hate being the only one who can't see in the dark.'

Sam laughed. 'Be thankful really, I love the sun but it burns my eyes just walking around now.'

Georgia sighed and tried again to follow after Sam and Aly. After a while, her eyes started to adjust, she could make out vague shapes lining the concrete walls but she still walked with her hands outstretched in front of her face, probing the dark for unsuspecting hazards. Sam laughed again, her voice bouncing off the concrete walls, mocking Georgia in the dark. Something touched her arm, like spiders crawling across her, their legs feeling like bone chilling feathers. Georgia gasped and drew back, stumbling over a wooden block, another unsuspecting hazard.

'Calm down, it's just me?' Sam said. Georgia breathed a sigh of relief and let Sam help her back to her feet. 'You okay George?'

Georgia nodded her head, the nickname swirling around her mind like a forgotten memory. She could see the cords it connected to, see how it grew but where it started eluded her. She pulled, fraying the cords beneath her fingertips as she searched deeper in her mind for the answers. 'I was giving George a kiss.' Jet's voice cleaved through her head. She remembered the first time she truly gazed into those piercing blue eyes and how she swore to herself to never do it again. She remembered how naïve she was back them, that made her cringe. Georgia's first day at Nate's place flashed through her mind, running, screaming, fear, blood, Jet, pain, relief.

'Are you okay?' Aly said quietly.

Georgia's body shook, her memories tore through her mind, replaying into a blurry stream of colour, so many things that she had lost, so many memories that Nick had taken from her, so many truths Alice had stripped from her.

'George. George. Georgia. Look at me.' Georgia's eyes automatically snapped up to see Sam gazing down at her, concern pouring out of her deep eyes.

'I'm sorry.' Georgia whispered, the memories tormenting her as she tried to calm her racing heart.

Sam smiled softly at her and pulled her in for a gentle hug, she kept her arms locked around Georgia's shoulders as she guided her further into the alley.

'Now let's get that dress, shall we.' Sam sounded really chipper.

Aly flanked Georgia on the other side, protecting her from anything that could come past. They continued down the alley in unison but nothing could protect Georgia from the trouble brewing within herself and the fear of losing it all.
