Ye Xiu-Team Happy

...Team Happy huh? I can't wait to see Ye Xiu again!

Happily humming to yourself, you skipped through the hallway until you arrived at your office. You began the preparation for the annual routine check-ups which contained info about new members, their characters and respective skills etc.

You thought about texting Ye Xiu but since you wanted it to be a surprise, you chose not to. 

You had to look at the document twice. Their base was an...internet cafe?

You knew Ye Xiu for quite a while, actually even before he started playing Glory, and you watched him rise and fall in the pro gamer world. It was obvious as for why someone who loved Glory so much wouldn't stop playing it even after his retirement was announced.

Ye Xiu, he still keeps playing Glory-

A knock on the door ripped you out of your thoughts.

"The director would like to know when you are ready to go."

"Oh, actually now."

"You don't need to contact them first to let them know?"

The woman in her business-like attire and her hair brushed back into a bun gave you a questionable look.

"Don't worry! If it's Team Happy, it'll be fine."

She still continued to give you a look that condemned you as not professional at all before she left to report to the director. 

You've never met Team Happy before since they were a newly formed team but from the way Ye Xiu talked about them, it was clear how found and happy he was to have them.

An hour later you arrived at the internet cafe and went to the reception to show your ID. The lady behind the computer understood you came from the eSports Association and was about to let her boss know. 

However you quickly stopped her from doing so and held up your index finger to indicate you wanted to surprise them. She smiled and nodded.

You walked through the cafe amazed by how big and modern it actually was.

The lady said it was around here. Ah!

You spotted Ye Xiu fully absorbed playing Glory. Quietly tiptoeing behind him which wouldn't have been necessary because he was wearing headphones, you looked at his screen. After you determined it was safe to disturb him, you covered his eyes with your hands.

You could feel Ye Xiu slightly jumping beneath your touch. He took off his headphones and touched your hands with his big, slender ones. The contact made you tingle a bit inside.

"I wonder who it is," you could already hear his smile in his voice. 

You wanted to retract your hands but Ye Xiu took them in his and pulled you forward so you had no other choice but to rest your head and arms on his shoulder.

"Wha-?"

His brown eyes stared into yours and for a moment you let yourself be swept away. However as soon as you realised how close your faces were, you quickly pulled away and straightened your clothes.

"Ye Xiu!" you scolded him but couldn't hold your laughter.

"Hey," he said and turned his chair to face you. His little smile was teasing you. 

You sighed and examined his face. He looked sickly pale and had dark circles under his eyes.

"Do you even take care of yourself?"

"Huh?" the question took him aback and his smile was replaced by confusion.

"Do you properly sleep? Eat? Don't tell me you eat cup noodles all the time? Do you still smoke so much? Are you taking care of your hygiene? Look at you!" you cupped his cheeks and turned his head to the left and right to get a better look,
