"You're here," Lu whispered as he met you outside your room.

"Sorry," you apologised, "I even made you unable to sleep..."

"Don't worry, let's just try to use the time to practise, how about it?"

"Sure!" you were all ready to go when you realised your Battlemage account was still in the room.

You quickly retrieved it and followed Lu. You bit on your lip as you watched his back. You hated yourself, it was your own fault that you ended up in this situation but Lu was kind enough to help you.

I didn't have to drag him with me into this. I should've stayed quiet in the room for the 3rd phase.

Together you sat in one of the practice rooms of the training camp. Four hours passed on a whim and it was 6 am. Suddenly sleepiness overcame you.

Now of all times!

Lu didn't say anything, he must be tired too...What have I done?

Once everyone assembled in the test room, Min and Xi assigned you to the computers and your opponents. It was a PvP, there were 25 players, if you lost 5 times, it was over and you were out. You let out a relieved sigh, you weren't against any of your teammates for the first round.

After Min and Xi explained the rules, two people came into the room, you almost choked and sank further down your chair in hopes the computer screen would cover your head.

Except you, everyone was getting all excited and the volume in the room exploded.

A god!

A Master of Tactics, the captain!

Why were they here?

Once the god met your eyes, you instantly wished to die. Shaotian furrowed his brows, he was still debating if he knew you or not since it was dark yesterday or better said this morning.

You shifted nervously on your chair, if he finds out I'll be thrown out of the camp!

During the whole time Yu Wenzhou was holding a speech, Shaotian's eyes were fixated on you. You wanted to die a 1000 deaths!

His eyes were still on you as he gave a brief talk, more like elaborated and annoying. The moment everyone wished good luck, Shaotian was about to make his way over to you but Wenzhou held him back for something. You sighed and tried to focus on the battle. Tried  to focus. You lost.

During the span of the other PvP you tried to evade Shaotian's line of sight which was exhausting because he kept finding excuses to get closer to you.

Damn, you cried.

After your third loss, you had a break of 10 minutes. 10 minutes! You gasped, that meant 10 minutes of evading that suspicious talker! While being tired as hell.

You briefed with your team. Everyone was winning except you and you were relieved, the lack of sleep was nothing for Lu. While you were worried about him, everyone was worried for you.

"What's the matter even if you're tired, you could've easily won," Lu said.

"Oh..." you thought about telling them the truth but the moment Shaotian broke free from his fans of players, he looked straight at you.

"Toilet!" you said a tone too high and rushed out.

In the toilet you took a deep breath. This was not how it can go on! At this rate you'd lose. You slapped your face twice, looked in the mirror and gave yourself a prep talk. An urge to break the mirror overcame you. Dreadful you made your way back to the room.
