The cafe was buzzing and popular with people lining up to even get a glance at this wonder that pro players were waiters.

You were also excited and lucky enough to get into the cafe. Each day the cafe was overfilled so they had to change their policy and only allow a certain amount of people daily.

The decor was simple and the interior was flooded with light. It was a cosy yet spacious cafe.

Once you sat down, someone came up to you. Perplexed you looked at him, it was a waiter. Wang Jiexi to be precise.

You couldn't hide your surprise. Wasn't this a cafe? So why would he personally come to your table? Shouldn't you order at the counter?

"Your order?"

You just stared at him in awe. His indifferent face didn't show any emotions and you were the only one who felt incredibly awkward.

"Erm... do you have the menu?"

"Please wait a moment," he left and came back.

There was no embarrassment hidden in his eyes, again it was only you who felt uncomfortable.

You brushed the feeling aside and excused him as a pro player who was a waiter for the first time but still! Who would forget to give the menu first?

As you looked through your option Wang Jiexi left to take care of the other guests.

You let your eyes wander around to find the other waiters. You were curious which other pro player submitted to this fate.

Yet before you had the chance, Wang Jiexi came back and obstructed your view. He put the tray under his harm and matched your height,

"You're sitting in my area, why are you interested in the other waiters?"

He was so close, you were afraid he could hear your heart beating loudly and see your flushed cheeks.

"Area?" was the only thing you could choke out under his relentless stare.

"Yes, the cafe's divided into different areas and the customers can choose where to sit according to the waiter they prefer."

He pointed at the entrance. There was indeed a sign with the areas divided and their assigned waiters. You gasped, you didn't see it at all!

"Oh, I see," you eyes darted around. He still didn't move away from you.

"Your order then?" he casually said as if nothing wrong was with the situation.

You quickly mumbled something but he made no attempt to leave you alone.

"W-What do you want?" you were exasperated not knowing how to react to him.

"It'd be best for me to keep a close eye on you since you might decide to defect to another area," he said it so serious, you couldn't take it as a joke.

"Defect, you say," you sweat-dropped. This wasn't a country here! Why did he have to be so political about it?

"My order?" you asked as he still lingered at your table, at least he pulled away.

"I really need to give you some special treatment, hm?" however he left after saying it and you were relieved you could finally breathe normally again.

But it wasn't long-lived, moments later he came back with your order. That was when you finally noticed, he was followed by cats. Not just one or two but at least a dozen. They all either obediently walked behind him or purring circled his legs to crave contact.

He put your drink and food down then smiled a bit, "Surprised? This is my special service. They've been here the whole time. You didn't notice? The cats seem to like you a lot."

You looked down and four cats really sat at your feet.

"How did you get them here? This isn't a cat cafe, right?"

He shrugged his shoulders, "When I first came here they followed me and wouldn't leave, so we thought we could use this opportunity."

He bent down to pet the cats. The other customers all squealed and played with some cats. How come you didn't notice it? And what was up with his absurd explanation? Why was he so loved by cats? What was he? A cat magnet?

"They don't really want to leave my side," he sighed.

Ah okay no need to brag, you rolled your eyes but couldn't stop looking at Jiexi as he continued to caress the cats.

He had a certain charm around and him and was really handsome like this.

One of the cats suddenly jumped onto your lap, surprised you almost fell off the chair but just in time Jiexi caught you and helped you recover your balance.

You mumbled thanks and saw how the cat made itself comfortable on your lap. It was adorable.

Jiexi grabbed the cat but before he could take it away, you stopped him. Your hands were on his and he was visibly taken aback.

"Don't," was the only thing you said.

He paused but then smiled at you, embarrassed you removed your hand from him.

"Well then, it seems I have to stay with you here after all this little cat can't be without me."

Hey guys,

Thanks so much for reading and staying with this book until now. I hope you all enjoyed this fanfic. Sadly, like I've mentioned previously, I will end or at least go on hiatus with this book now.

It has been lots of fun but all good things must come to an end right, haha. Maybe when the second season would ever come out I might get the inspiration to write again but for now, it's

THANK YOU for all the support you've shown me and this book. I was and am really happy about it!

Lastly, if you have the chance, check out my other books which are originals. One is a transmigration, part BL, comedy, parody- bad description but I promise it's really funny, you'll love it haha, its called 'Shameless Transmigration- I turned everyone on'-- yea, yea bad title I know... T.T

And the other is a reincarnation story about revenge turning into a bigger quest/purpose with a hint of romance, this one is considerably darker and tragic, so if you're into this then please check 'Wicked Reincarnation' out.
