Special thanks to TroublingRain for coming up with the idea for the new scenarios.

Warning: (light) spoilers. Please be aware that I'm not familiar with gaming so there might be mistakes.

Sigh.

A card was lazily stuck into the gaming device.

The bright screen lit up the dark room, on it the character's data slowly loaded.

The chair's been pulled back, a jacket and scarf carelessly thrown over it.

Tired you let yourself fall on the chair and folded your arms on the keyboard with your head resting on them. Half-hearted you peeked at the screen.

Why's my internet connection so slow? I'm paying extra money to get more speed!

Another sigh left your lips. Then your hands found their way to the mouse and keyboard. Still, through half-lidded eyes you moved your avatar. There wasn't anything special to do anymore.

Glory...

wasn't that fun, honestly.

All the records and first-kill up until now were taken by Lord Grim or any other big guilds. Setting records was impossible, you didn't join any guilds and there was no way you knew of any high-levelled player who'd team up just to break records. They were all doing it with their own teams in their guilds. So all that was left was levelling up.

Levelling up. Levelling up like crazy, trying to max your stats, getting equipment, polishing your skills, tactics and getting experience through battles, were the only things you could do.

Nothing outstanding that could catch anyone's eyes in the 10th server. There weren't even any pro players, for that one had to go to the Heavenly Domain Server. To get in there the Heavenly Domain challenge was required.

Lord Grim accomplished it at only Level 50! Who were you kidding? You've been only playing Glory for three weeks and it has been already a few months since the 10th server was released. Of course, you couldn't dream of accomplishing any amazing feats that haven't been done before.

You looked at your avatar, level 50 in three weeks, wasn't that bad? Gaming didn't seem hard once you got the gist out of it. You were always a fast learner. So where were the harms in taking the Heavenly Domain challenge now? If you fail, you fail. There was nothing more than that:

It was pretty simple, right?

Fine, let's do it.

Swiftly your fingers flew across the keyboard. You were sure you were a pretty decent player and had some understanding of the game but you were still too green. Because what you lacked was knowledge of the pro gamer world and most importantly self-awareness.

The All-Star Weekend.

You actually got your hands on tickets for the three days.  First day was rookies challenging pro players. Second day was based on audience interaction and last day featured a team battle between the 21 All-Stars pro player chosen from the audience.

You realised that you understood nothing of the Glory pro-Alliance so you sought to take the chance to witness the players in action.

There you were on the second day sitting in the middle block in the middle row. The first day had you in awe, even though it was supposed to be matches just for fun, to you they were pretty intense. Could you one day be as good as them?

You wondered when the host announced that a member of the audience would be chosen to have the chance to play against a pro player. Who would press the fastest could go on stage and battle.
