Ye Xiu- Parenthood

"Come here," Ye Xiu stretched his arms out and pulled you into his embrace. 

You wriggled, trying to free yourself but Ye Xiu tightened his arms around your waist and nestled his head in your shoulder.

You felt his warm breath on your skin. You shivered slightly. Ye Xiu caught it and pressed a gentle kiss on your neck, "What's wrong?"

You could feel his small smile against your skin as he cheekily gave you another kiss.

"Nothing," you huffed out while trying to evade his attempts to appease you.

"Really, if there's nothing wrong, then why are you angry at me? Is it because I spent more time with the computer than with you?"

It's been 5 years since you got married to Ye Xiu. He long retired from the Glory scene but his love for it was still as strong as ever.

There was no chance to tone it down but it wasn't why you were angry at him.

"I'm not," you briefly answered and desperately tried to get away from him, but his grip was strong and his touch so enticing you just couldn't get enough.

Although you knew you should properly talk to him about your reason for being angry at him, but it was futile. How many times have you told him about it and did anything change? No!

That was why you ignored him, hoping he'd take the matter seriously.

"I can see you're mad. The fumes are literally coming out of your ears."

You instantly wipped away as he chuckled in a low tone that brought out your deepest desires.

"Tell me," Ye Xiu's voice left no option fo you to refuse.

You crossed your arms in front of your chest, "Why don't you guess?"

"I already did but it seemed to be the wrong answer. I can easily guess what an opponent thinks but I don't dare do that with you."

"Oh is that so?" you raised an eyebrow and turned to face him. 

His infuriating smile met you and you sighed, "Kindergarten has called. Again."

"Oh," Ye Xiu seemed to understand but pretended to be clueless, "Why?"

"You know why," you narrowed your eyes and pushed him away, "Because you teach your kids, useless and unnessary, shameless stuff. You're a bad role model."

"Our kids."

"No, apparently not because they rather listen to you and infuriate everyone around them."

"But you still love me, right?" Ye Xiu stood up and once again hugged you from behind.

You were exaspereated, "This time, we'll go together."

Ye Xiu helplessly shrugged his shoulders, "I wont be of much use."

"So you know heh," without wasting time you dragged him to the kindergarten to meet the principal.

"Mommy! Daddy!" once inside the kindergarten your son Ye Mo and daughter Ye Lan came running to you. They were twins, both had black hair and Ye Xiu's features were more prominent on them. Especially your son always wore the same small smile Ye Xiu did.

"I heard you weren't being good?" after hugging them, you instantly wanted to scold them.

"Not true," Ye Lan shook her head and gave you a dazzling smile. She was too cute. Her cheeks were as pinchable as Ye Xiu's but you couldn't give in, you knew behind her facade slumbered Ye Xiu 2.0.
