With his arms folded he stared down at you. Sweat formed on your forehead. You fiddled with your hands behind your back.

"So you are my lover huh?"

"Yes!"

His stern eyes examined every part of your body: "Not bad, I guess."

A breeze swept away the burning hotness in your body.

"Oh erm thanks?"

He raised an eyebrow: "Thanks?"

"Yes?"

"Hmpf."

W-What? What is wrong with this situation here? Everything!

"Shouldn't you return a compliment?"

"Don't you want to come in first?" you gave him a smile and gradually turned smaller under his intense gaze.

I wonder if I didn't make the wrong choice here, he didn't look that intimidating in the picture.

"There's no need for that," he turned around and started walking.

"I've actually booked a restaurant for dinner today."

"Oh, is that so?" you quickly caught up to him, "but isn't that in a few hours? It's still noon?"

"You sure wouldn't mind tagging along with me, would you?" he gripped your chin and made you look up to him.

You shook your head, he smirked and let you go.

"Good, I wouldn't have thought otherwise."

You touched your chin and huffed, you wouldn't have given me a choice anyway.

His back was intimidatingly big but seemed somehow lonely. It was February and the snow piled up and decorated the streets to little ice hall entrances. You shivered and finally noticed you went out without a jacket! Cursing yourself, you rubbed your arms in hopes the little motions would keep you warm.

Wenqing stopped and looked at a store, once he turned around his eyes widened:

"You should've said something if you are cold."

He placed his jacket on your shoulder, you looked up to him in surprise.

"What?" he furrowed his brows, "do I have something on my face?"

"N-No, I just thought you are actually nice."

"What is that supposed to mean?" he wrapped you tightly in his big jacket.

"Thank you," you mumbled and couldn't keep your eyes to yourself.

"You don't have to worry about me. Do I look like someone you have to worry about?"

You quickly shook your head.

"Good, follow me."

You nodded and entered the store with him.

"What is this?" you couldn't believe your eyes.

"What? You never saw a jewellery store?"

Your eye twitched, "that's not what I meant. Why would you go in here?"
