Cherry blossoms fell carried by the wind. The bright sky and the bird chirping announced the beautiful day.
You sat in a room in front of a mirror and watched yourself. Today was the day. It finally arrived.
Outside you heard voices, cheerful and chatty. Suddenly nervousness overcame you, it was really going to happen. Your big day.
No one came barging in, not one of the laughter was with you because you wanted to be left alone. Taking a deep breath you put on the veil, covered your face and waited for the knock.
When it came you rose to your feet and with one last look in the mirror, twirled around before opening the door. An arm was extended out to you and you grabbed it, knowing it was time to walk down the aisle.
Gasps and smiles were sent your way, all eyes fell on you as you were led to the front. However, you only looked at him and he only looked at you. With tears in his eyes, he reached out his hands taking yours as you stood opposite to each other.
Your heart beat as one and nothing could disturb this everlasting moment between you, finally bonding and saying your vows.
"And now kiss."
The magical words appeared. He lifted your veil, his face brimming with joy as he closed in.
Yes, you'd be spending the rest of your life with him.
