"Where were you yesterday? I looked for you," Ye Xiu gave you a frown.

You recalled yesterday and shuddered. Everything made sense now but what would Ye Xiu do? 

"I slept," you lied.

"You weren't in your room, I looked for you," Ye Xiu obviously wasn't having any of your lies.

"I guess so," you shrugged your shoulders,

"does that even matter."

Ye Xiu sighed:

"Steamed Bun isn't here today so-"

"So he can't monitor me right, hmm," you gave Ye Xiu an innocent smile.

"So you'll get someone else who will help you," Ye Xiu smiled back. "Ah he just arrived."

You turned around and he brushed past you. You stared at the air in anger for a few seconds before you faced Ye Xiu and the new guy again.

"That's Fang Rui and Fang Rui that's the AL," Ye Xiu introduced you and Fang Rui only nodded briefly.

"He will be following you around."

"So no privacy for me...is that how I'm going to be treated for the rest of the time?"

"Until the war is over."

"Yes, until the war is over," you smiled and walked out of the door, leaving Ye Xiu behind to tell Fang Rui to hurry up and follow you.

In the middle of the hallway you abruptly stopped and looked at your new 'bodyguard'.

"I want to be alone," you said.

"No," he simply said.

"But I want to!"

"But I don't want you to!"

"But I said I want to!"

"But I said I don't want you to!"

"You're pretty stubborn aren't you?" you gave him a glare and hurried to your room.

"That should be said to you!" he shouted after you and ripped open the door you closed in front of his face.

"Can't I even be in my room alone?"

"No."

"But I want to!"

"But I don't want you to!"

"But I said I want to!"

"And I said I don't want you to!" Fang Rui seemed fed up and slammed the door shut.

"You're going to stay here like a good child."

"Don't treat me like a child!"

"Should I treat you as an object then?"

"You!" you threw a pillow at him which he evaded.

He's too skilled! you cursed, you couldn't escape him.

"Do you have any idea how annoying you are?" he remarked and bored looked at you lying on the bed.

"Same could be said to you," you huffed and turned away from him.
