"Don't slack off," Han Wenqing's stern voice was carried through the dark room. You could see the faint outline of his tall and broad figure towering over your small son, Han Liwen.

"Wenqing," your voice hollered from the door frame and Wenqing and Liwen jumped up in their chairs. Light from the hallway poured through the open door into the room.

With a bright smile, you entered the room and stared down at Wenqing, "What are you guys doing?"

Wenqing was unfazed and entered the staredown, "He needs to properly practise."

Behind them, a bright computer shone and illuminated the area. Various sports equipment could be seen.

"Practice at this hour?" you threw a look at the clock, "It's past midnight, what do you think you're doing? Liwen has to go to school tomorrow."

Liwen didn't say anything but absent-mindedly played with the mouse. Wenqing opened his mouth as he crossed his arms in front of his chest, "Dear-"

The way he said it was a bit sweet but you could see the competitive and stern glint in his eyes, "Liwen still has time to sleep. Four hours are enough."

You lost your patience and slapped him on the shoulders, "You damn stoneface-"

"Mum said a bad word," Liwen shook his brown hair and looked sleepy.

"Just ignore it," you added before turning back to Wenqing, "He's not a pro player, only a child, he needs proper sleep. You too!"

"He's old enough," Wenqing didn't back down.

"He's 8," your face blanked and you wondered if he hit his head hard enough to be spouting nonsense.

You sighed as you saw the same stoic expression on your son's face that perfectly mirrored your husband's.

"Liwen, don't pull that face or in the future, you'll look like your dad," you grabbed Liwen's cheeks and squished them to relax his face.

"A man's face should not be made fun off," Wenqing started to scold but you quickly put your hands on his face, "Oh? Really?" you chuckled as he stared at you with a dangerous glint while you unbothered kneaded the fat on his face.

"Dear," you said it in the same voice he did previously, "I'm not making fun of you, don't get me wrong. I'm just trying to prevent our son from turning into Han Wenqing 2.0. A disaster wou-" Wenqing grabbed your hand and twirled you around until you sat on the table where the computer was.

"Dear, don't get me wrong, I'm only trying to prevent our son from turning into a certain wife 2.0," Wenqing's lips curled up as he saw your lips turn into a fine line.

This guy was really a handful. You quickly freed yourself from Wenqing's grip and approached Liwen. You rubbed Liwen's hair and massaged his shoulders, "Liwen, you're as harsh as your dad. I know how the kids fear you at school. So, don't do what your dad says if you know it better. Are you going to disobey me?"

Your hands put a bit more strength on Liwen's shoulders.

"Mum, I'm sorry. Dad forced me. This brute," Liwen's words neither shocked you nor Wenqing, after all, like father like son.

He totally came after Wenqing. No matter how you wanted him to be more of a child he still made everyone obedient around him like a small tyrant.

Damn pro players.

"Dad leave me alone. I'm going to bed, don't annoy me," Liwen's blunt and harsh words made Wenqing's eye twitch.

Wenqing was ready to give Liwen a good ear beating when you stopped him. Only after Liwen completely disappeared did you let go of Wenqing and lightly laughed,

"Haha, don't look so angry. Dear~ you were the one who taught him like this. Constantly furrowing your eyebrows at him," you used two fingers to caress Wenqing's eyebrow before he pulled you on his lap.

"It's my fault?" surprisingly Wenqing was obedient and stared up at you.

His large hands trailed your back up and down until they remained on your waist and gave you a little squeeze.

"It is," you put your arm around him and put your nose on his then rubbed a bit, "Don't you agree?"

Your lips closed in on his but at the last minute you pulled away, "Agree or not?"

Wenqing pushed you closer to him and your chests pressed against each other. Wenqing sighed, "Agree."

"Then from now on, we'll work together to make sure he doesn't become like you?"

Wenqing's eyes glared at you before he nodded, "Ok."

"Listen to everything mum says?"

"..."

"And?"

"...Ok."

"Liwen won't stay up past his bedtime anymore, not matter your stupid ideas?"

"..."

"Wenqing?"

"...Ok."

"Good man," you kissed the side of Wenqing's neck and giggled as he pushed you even closer to him, "You brute," you added.

You found Liwen's remark hilarious, Wenqing stared at you as if he knew you'd hold it against him for a long while.

Wenqing was about to pin you on the floor when you both saw a small figure in the doorframe.

"What do you want?" Wenqing's voice turned stern again and Liwen shrugged his shoulders. He passed you and Wenqing and arrived at the table.

"What are you looking for?" Wenqing's patience ran short.

"My tissue."

"You brat, came back for that? Scram," once Wenqing's words echoed Liwen only sighed and left.

He had the same attitude as Wenqing. You glared at your husband, "Didn't you promise not to treat him like this anymore?"

"From tomorrow on. He interrupted a very important time," Wenqing carried you in his arms towards the bedroom, "Let's resume."
