"joshua! look!"

tyler pointed, his legs bouncing slightly on the tips of his feet. the taller boy to stopped his calm staring at the beautiful lights of a nearby ferries wheel and looked towards his friends direction. josh laughed lightly and felt his face contort into a state of confusion,

"have you never eaten cotton candy before?" josh asked playfully.

the smaller boy shook his head no and excitedly rushed towards the stand, making the sudden burst of movement somewhat hard for josh to keep up. tyler beamed with pure joy, waiting impatiently for the couple in front of them to finish paying.

"what color do you want ty?"

"pink, joshua!"

josh laughed at the bright boy, soon ordering even though it was something he absolutely hated doing. however, the reward was well worth it. after finding a bench to sit down on tyler faced the taller boy and picked a piece of the puffy candy off. tyler began staring at the fluffy substance, eyeing every last spot. he soon became aware that yes, he's definitely heard of cotton candy, but has never seen or tried it.

"just eat it tyler"

the brunette looked up at josh with a microscopic amount of fear in his pupils. he opened his mouth hesitantly,

"is this some sort of cloud?"

josh laughed, "no tyler it's not a cloud, it's candy, remember? you're supposed to eat it."

"it looks like a cumulonunbus cloud" the smaller boy stuttered, butchering the cloud name.

the boy giggled and stared back down at the candy. reluctantly he brought the treat towards his mouth and bit off a piece.

tylers eyes grew wide.

"joshua where did it go?!"

"its supposed to do that tyler"

"but it is not here anymore! i eat it and then it is gone!"

tyler stared carefully at the cotton candy again, now slightly more scared of it as the other boy began to laugh at his miniature freak out.

"it is like sugar and then poof! it is gone!"

he laughed even harder this time, "t-tyler that's what cotton candy does"

tyler, still dangerously confused, looked up at josh for help. josh sighed, "here, look."

the taller boy took a gaint handful of cotton candy and shoved it in his mouth, soon waiting for it to dissolve. in a matter of seconds, josh opened his mouth wide to show that it was empty, leaving the small brunette completely mesmerized.

"you look like a crocodile, joshua"

"you're a crocodile"
