I woke up with the worst headache of my life. And such a dry mouth.
"Here, everyone take a painkiller." Callie got a bottle out of her bag and started passing around pills. I guess I was the last one to wake up because everyone else was sitting on the floor in a circle. Guess I won't know who I kissed last night.
I walked over and sat between Ross and Callie. She handed me a pill and I swallowed it.
"Thanks." I said.
"Camille, you were trashed last night." Becca said.
"I didn't feel trashed. I felt fine." I said.
"Believe me, you were." Ross said. He put a hand on my thigh.
"We fell asleep before we could use the Ouija board. Guess you guys will have to come to our house tonight." Tyler suggested.
"I'm in. My parents wouldn't care." Callie said.
"I'm sure Cam and I can come. Dylan? You wanna come?" Ross asked.
"If the hotties are gonna be there, so am I." Dylan joked. We all laughed.
"Everyone get dressed and try to look the least hungover as you can. Then we can go upstairs for breakfast." I said.
We all got dressed, combed out our hair and went upstairs.
"Hey. You guys must've been up late to sleep in this long. We were just getting ready to go on a horse ride." Anna said when she saw us.
"Yeah, the game ran a little late. We were all pretty tired. Do you think Cam and I could go over to Becca and Tyler's house tonight?" Ross asked.
"I don't see a problem with that. When do you plan on leaving?" Anna asked.
"Probably in an hour or so." I said.
"That's fine. I probably won't be back by then, but have fun." Anna said, walking out the back door.
"She's chill when we have friends over." Ross said.
"Let's eat before we leave. Dude, i'm starving." Dylan said.
We dug into leftovers until we were full. We decided to go see a movie and then go to Becca and Tyler's house.
"Let me get some clothes, i'll meet you in the car." I said. Ross stayed back to get clothes too.
"Of course." I muttered in my room. I didn't have any money left. My bag was already packed. Ross came in through the closet holding his bag.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"I don't have any money. Just - just tell them I can't go." I said.
"Here. Take this." Ross handed me a 20$.
"What? No, I couldn't. I get payed from the foster system at the end of the month. Tell them I can hang out later." I said.
"Consider it a loan then. If you don't go, i'm not going." Ross said.
"Okay. But i'm going to pay you back, promise." I said.
We walked out to the cars. Becca, Callie, and Tyler were in Callie's truck. Dylan was in his car.
"I'll ride with Dylan, you can ride with them." Ross said. I think he was trying to keep me away from Dylan.
I got into the back seat with Tyler, Callie drove to Becca's house.
"My parents don't get home from work until 8pm. It's 3pm right now. We have plenty of time to do whatever." Becca said.
"Once they get home, we can go out to the camper. That's where my room is." Tyler said.
