It was Tuesday night, Ross and I laid in his bed deciding who to invite as our third ticket to California.

"Tyler? No... too awkward. Maybe Becca?" I suggested.

"So I can be the third wheel? No thanks. What about Dylan?" Ross asked.

"All he wants to do is get drunk. What about Jake?" I asked, hoping Ross wouldn't get jealous.

"Hmm... Well," He pauses for a second and thought. "I think Jake could work. But don't let him steal you."

I almost laughed. "Seriously? You're my boyfriend. Start trusting me more. I trust you with all those cheerleaders all over you at the game. And after the game, and with everyone else."

"Okay, okay. You're right. Now text him and let's go to sleep, it's already past midnight." Ross told me.

to jake: hey, you're the lucky winner!! wanna come to cali with ross and I? leaving friday, it's free. gonna be there for 3 days. text me once you ask earl :)

I sent the text and got cuddled up to Ross, falling asleep in his arms once again.

**Thursday night**

Ross and I fell asleep together in my bed, and when I woke up at 2am he wasn't there. Not thinking anything of it, I went to the kitchen to get a drink of water but left the lights off so I wouldn't wake anyone up. I poured a glass of water and sat at the table when I heard Rachel's door slowly creek open. And what I saw make my jaw drop

There I saw Ross walking out of Rachel's room, holding his jeans and shirt, only wearing his boxers. We were leaving for california in the morning and this is how he celebrates? In her room? And I trusted him! With her? She's such a snob. He went back into his own room without even noticing me. Insane.

I put my glass away and went to my room, laying in bed. My blood was boiling, there was no way I was going to fall asleep any time soon. Not even 10 minutes later, Ross walked in.

"Hey baby, what are you doing up?" He asked, getting into bed beside me.

"Oh, uh... I just woke up a second ago. Where were you?" I asked, leaning into his chest.

"Just has to use the bathroom really quick." He made an excuse. Lied right to my face. He wrapped his arms under my shirt and around my waist, slowly moving his fingers under the side of my pants.

"It's late." I said, trying to say no.

"Shh, it's okay. I'm not doing anything." He quieted me with a kiss, and then started kissing my neck. It felt good so I didn't see a point in stopping him. Moving too quickly, he started sliding my shirt up over my bra.

"Ross seriously, get off." I pushed him away. "Don't you know how to take a hint? It's late, lets just sleep." I rolled over facing the wall instead of him. The fact that he tried to get with me right after he was with Rachel was disgusting.

"Cam, I'm sorry. I got carried away." Ross put his hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah, wouldn't be the first time." I scoffed and ignored him for the rest of the night.

We had to leave the house to get onto the plane at 5am, and Jake was supposed to be here. I got up about 30 minutes early and got dressed into some sweatpants and a hoodie. I double checked my bag a hundred times, nervous as ever. All I wanted to do was hold Ross' hand for security but I was so mad at him I could barely look at him.

Jake pulled up right on time, as Ross got out of the bathroom. The three of us got into Ross' truck without a word since we were all so tired.

"Thanks for inviting me guys, i'm really excited. I've never been to California." Jake said with a grin. I was stuffed between him and Ross, all of our bags by Jakes feet and on our laps.

"No problem, I haven't either. I'm kinda scared. Mostly of the plane." I admitted.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine. Once you're in the air it isn't nearly as scary as you'd expect. Trust me, i'll be right beside you." Jake smiled at me. Ross gave him a look that he didn't notice and put his hand on my thing, slowly rubbing it.

"Both hands on the wheel." I acted like I was joking, but I just didn't want him touching me right now.

When we got to the airport, of course Ross had to use the bathroom.

"Okay, well we are going to find the coffee shop. Meet us at the line." I told Ross and headed off with Jake.

"Are you okay? You seem a bit tense today." Jake looked at me.

"Okay, i'm going to tell you this but you have to promise not to tell Ross. Okay?" He held his pinky out and I laughed at I pinky promised him. "Well last night, I saw Ross coming out of Rachel's room. And then came right back to my bedroom and got into bed with me!" I told him.

"Maybe he was just talking to her? Or giving her something, I wouldn't jump to conclusions. Ross seems like he really likes you. He is really overprotective too i've noticed." Jake assured me.

"He was only wearing his boxers." I said bluntly.

"Oh... damn. I mean, usually that isn't a good sign but I would still ask him about it. Just to be on the safe side." Jake asked as we got in line at the coffee shop and ordered our drinks.

"I know but he always denies anything. This isn't the first time something has happened like that." I felt my voice crack.

"Hey, it's okay. Let's just see how things go, we're about to go to california! It's gonna be a great time." Jake pulled me into his chest for a hug.

After we got our coffee, we searched for the line and found Ross already waiting. He waved over to us and we walked up to him.

We talked for about an hour until they finally let us get onto the plane. I got the middle seat as usual, Ross got the window seat and Jake got the aisle seat. Jake put in his earbuds and closed his eyes.

As the plane took off, I couldn't help but grip onto Ross' hand. I tried to act like I wasn't scared but he could definitely tell I was. Last time I was on a plane, I was gripping my mother's hand.

We were up in the air in no time but what felt like forever. It was going smoothly, thankfully. I looked over to Jake and I could tell he was already sleeping. The plane was filled with quiet whispers and a baby talking.

After a long while of sitting on the plane, I had to ask him.

"Hey so, last night, we're you in Rachel's room? I couldn't find you anywhere." I asked Ross quietly.

"What? No, I slept in your room. I just went to the bathroom, remember?" He shrugged it off and looked out the window. He was really lying right to me.

"Really? Because I saw you walk out of her room. In your boxers, Ross. Explain that." I said, and he looked at me.

"Baby..." I cut him off.

"Don't 'baby' me. Just tell me what happened." I said, trying not to let my voice crack.

"Nothing happened! I just went in there because her light was on and I couldn't sleep either. Well... things got a bit escalated but that's it, I didn't fuck her if that's what you think." Ross said, and looked out the window once again.

"Then what did you do? What do you even mean by things got escalated?" I kept my voice quiet, hoping nobody heard.

"She just, you know... she started coming into me and I was feeling kinda... you know!" Ross said.

"Ross! No I do not know. Please enlighten me." I said, still looking at him.

"For gods sake, Camille. Damn. She sucked my dick. Is that what you want to know? Are you fucking happy now?" Ross said harshly and looked at me. I was at a loss for words and my jaw dropped a bit. I was tearing up and all.

"Y-yeah. I guess that is what I wanted to know." I said, and left it at that. He did too. "Hey Jake," I shook his arm to wake him up. "Can you switch me seats?"

"Uh, yeah sure of course." Jake looked like he knew and got up to switch me seats. I sat down in his and he offered me an earbud. I took it and leaned my head on his shoulder, listening to his music.
