When I woke up, my head was on Ross' lap and he was driving. It was still really dark out, I leaned up.
"Where are you going?" I asked.
"You need to get back. What if they see you're gone? You'll get in so much trouble." Ross said.
"No, please. Let's go get coffee or something. It's only four, surely nobody will be awake at this hour." I begged. Ross stared at me for a minute.
"Fine. But we have to make it quick. You're not going to be getting in trouble because of me." Ross said. I smiled.
He drove to starbucks and we went in the drive through. I ordered a latte and he ordered a hot chocolate. Once we got our drinks, I was complete and warm.
"I don't wanna go back." I said to Ross.
"Back to Anna's house?" Ross asked, shocked.
"No! To the house i'm at now. I can't wait to go to Anna's house. I miss her so much. I miss you so much." I told him. "I'm sorry for being a total bitch. I overreact all the time and overthink every little thing. Like you with that girl at the party or... what happened before the party. I'm a mess."
"You're not a mess, and you don't have to be sorry. I was the one who was being a dick. You have every right to be mad at me." Ross said. Then it was silent.
He pulled over in front of the house. It was still dark out and I didn't want to get out of the truck. Ross turned towards me and pulled me into a big hug. I nuzzled my face into his neck as he held me tight.
"I'll call you when I can. When is the party?" I asked Ross, pulling away.
"Tonight. Do you want me to pick you guys up?" He asked me.
"If you can, yeah. Around ten?" I suggested. He nodded. I gave him a long kiss before stepping out of the truck and sneaking back inside.
Everyone was still asleep, luckily. I went to my room quietly and got into bed. Soon, I fell asleep.
When I woke up, it was almost noon. I walked outside of my room, into the hallways, and heard the tv on. Jake was playing Xbox in the upstairs living room. Without saying anything, I sat in the seat beside him and started watching him play.
"You came home late. Have fun?" Jake asked, not looking away from the tv.
"Uh... I thought everyone was asleep." I hesitated.
"Not asleep, just quiet. So...?" He questioned.
"It's not what you think, I wasn't partying or anything. My friend just picked me up to get some coffee and we fell asleep in the car. Once I woke up, we drove here. By the way, wanna come to a party tonight?" I asked him.
"Really? Sure. Awesome, when?" Jake asked. He actually paused the game to face me.
"Around ten. Unless that's too late for little Jakey." I said, jokingly. He smiled and gave my arm a playful shove.
"I think you're forgetting something, I'm older than you! So baby Camille might need to go to sleep early tonight." He smirked.
"Kinky." I joked. "Wait, if you've never been to a party... have you ever had a girlfriend?" I asked him.
"Duh. Girls love me and you know it." He flexed his muscles.
"Keep dreaming bud. So, when does everyone else wake up?" I asked.
"They go to church. Left about an hour ago. Usually they aren't back until after three." Jake said.
"What are we going to do until then?" I wondered out loud.
