It was finally Friday. Becca and I were sitting in my bedroom talking for a bit before we went to see Callie whenI got a call. It was Michaels number.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey, it's Callie. I'm using Michaels phone because they won't let me have my own." Callie spoke. so put it on speaker so Becca could hear too.
"We were just getting ready to head over." I said.
"Okay, can you guys do me a huge favor?" She asked.
"Yeah of course. What is it?" I asked.
"Well i'm getting to leave tomorrow. Can you guys bring my van over? I don't have a car and they won't let me leave without my car or a parent." Callie told us. I looked to Becca and she nodded.
"Okay, sure. We can bring it." I said.
"Thanks. See you soon!" Callie said before hanging up.
"I can take my car so we will have a ride back. You can drive her van." Becca told me.
"I can't drive two hours alone, that will be so boring." I said.
"You get used to it. I guess you could ask Ross to go with you." Becca suggested.
"Okay. I'll be right back." I said. I got up and walked to Ross' door to knock. He quickly opened it.
"Hey." He said, stepping out and closing the door behind him.
"You wanna go on a two hour drive with me? Becca and I have to take Callie her van." I asked him.
"Yeah. Let me get dressed really quick, i'll meet you outside." Ross said. I went back into my room with Becca.
"He will meet us at the car, lets go." I told her. On our way out, I saw Anna in the living room.
"Where are you girls heading off too?" Anna asked.
"Going to see Callie. Today is the last day, so don't worry about me being gone all the time. We will be home soon." I assured her.
"Okay, sounds good. Have fun! And try to be home before dark. Bad things have been happening around town." Anna waved us off. We waited in the car for a few minutes until Ross joined us.
"Ready?" Becca asked. We both nodded.
"Anna wants us home before dark so we are going to have to make it quick." I told them.
"No problem. We can go, give her the keys, and leave." Ross said.
"Well we should probably talk to her for a bit." Becca said.
"Yeah." I agreed.
We got to Callie's van and Becca waited on Ross and I to get out. Ross insisted that I drive, so I did. Then, I followed Becca.
"So she's getting out tomorrow, huh?" Ross asked.
"Seems so, yes." I told him.
"Yay. Well tomorrow night we need to have a movie night." Ross told me.
"Deal. I could really use a movie night after this week." I told him.
"Why, what happened?" He asked.
"Nothing in specific. School is just so draining for me." I told him.
"I'm sorry. To make it better, i'm taking you on a date this weekend. We can go tomorrow." Ross said.
"Really? You're the best!" I smiled. He tried to reach over and hold my hand. "No way. I can barely drive with both of my hands."
"What? You're a great driver." Ross said, putting his hand on my leg instead.
