Jakes arms were still wrapped around me when I woke up, and I smiled at the sight of it. It was still dark outside so I pulled the blanket from the back of the couch onto us. I was still half drunk and really happy. Pulling the blanket woke him up.
"Agh. I have a headache. Why is my whole body sore? I might puke." Jake groaned. I giggled.
"You're hungover." I told him with a grin.
He acknowledged what I said before pulling the blanket over his head and going back to sleep. I easily got up and went to take a shower. A long, warm shower is always the best feeling.
After my shower I changed into some jeans and a sweatshirt. I also put on some fluffy socks because it was freezing out and I loved being cozy. By the time I was done, Jake was awake and was a hot mess.
"You better hop in the shower." I laughed.
"That's probably a good idea." He scratched his head. While he was showering, I cleaned up a bit from last night. Threw away empty cans, bottles, and trash. Then I put the blanket back and put away the leftover pizza. He took a quick shower and was out by the time I was done.
"Dude. I only remember half of last night." Jake sat down on the couch.
"Me too, I think anyways. I just remember you were much more drunk than me." I joked and sat down beside him.
"No way!" He put his hand on my arm. "You drunk so much more than me. For sure."
"You calling yourself a lightweight?" I laughed. The house phone started ringing from downstairs.
"I'll get it." Jake said, getting up. He ran downstairs and was back up seconds later. "It's for you." He handed it to me.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey Camille, it's Belle! I have some good news. Tomorrow you get to go back to Anna's house. I will pick you up around five in the evening. That sound good?" Belle asked.
"Yeah sounds good to me. See you then." I told her and hung up. "That was Belle. I guess she's picking me up tomorrow to go home."
"Oh, okay. What time is it?" Jake asked. I looked on the phone.
"Oh my gosh. It's almost three." As in PM! Wow, already.
"Earl and the girls are back. The girls are asleep on the couch, i'm assuming Earl is in his room." Jake told me.
Once everyone started getting up, Jake and I went downstairs. We all sat in the living room and talked until dinner, when Dani made pasta. It was kind of gross, and I love pasta. After dinner, we all watched a movie. Then one by one, everyone started going to their room until it was just me, Dani, and Jake.
"Where were you guys last night?" Jake asked her.
"I don't see why it's your business." Dani scoffed.
"Jeez. I was just wondering. Considering you guys failed to tell us where you were going or when you would be back. That's not a very responsible thing to do." Jake told her.
"Whatever." She got up and walked to her room.
"Wow, we really know how to draw the crowd away." I laughed.
"Yeah, you're right." He laughed too. "It's going to be boring without you here."
"Any time you're bored, call me. I'll give you my number." I told him.
"Okay, my phone is upstairs." Jake said. We both walked upstairs and sat on the couch, he handed me his phone to put my number in. Then, I texted myself saying "jake".
