Today was our last full day in NYC. We were going to Central Park. After breakfast, we all got into the bus. I sat beside Ross.

"I hear that we're going to a zoo first, the the art museum." I heard someone say from behind me.

"That's correct. And in between, you will be in groups of four and you can go wherever you want for an hour." The teacher said.

"Me, you, Tyler and Becca?" Ross asked. I nodded.

Once we got there, we all walked to the zoo. It wasn't anything spectacular, just some animals in cages. There was a part where you could ride a camel, though.

"No riding camels on my watch! Do that in your own time." The teacher told us.

"Ross, we have to do that!" I said to him.

"Okay, its 10$ and two people get to ride at once. We can each pay 5$." Ross said to me.

After we walked all through the zoo, we got together with Tyler and Becca.

"Ross and i are going to go ride a camel." I told them.

"Okay, cool! I wanted to do that too." Becca said.

We walked back to the camel area and the line was way down. Ross and I walked up to give the guy our money. We followed him to where we would be getting on. Ross held my hand and helped me step off the big platform onto the camels back, then I did the same to him.

"Smile!" Becca said once we already went around the trail once. We both looked at her and smiled.

The camel was so soft and fluffy. His feet were fat and squished when they hit the ground, it was so fun. I turned back to look at Ross, he has a huge smile on his face.

After we got off, Tyler and Becca got on. I took their picture as they did mine. Once they got off, we walked around to find an ice cream place.

"I'll take a superman." Tyler said.

"Oh, so you remembered." I said to Tyler.

"Your favorite. My new favorite because it's amazing." Tyler told me.

We all ordered our ice cream and sat down on a bench.

"This has been really fun." Ross said.

"Yeah. I don't want to go home." I told them.

"Maybe if we save up our money, over a school break we can come back." Becca said.

After we ate our ice cream, it was time to start walking to the art museum. Even the outside was beautiful. I took lots of pictures.

"Cam, this looks like you." Ross pointed at a painting of a girl. I walked over to get a closer look. I've seen this painting before, hanging in my old house. This painting was of my mom. I can't believe it's here now.

"Yeah, it kinda does." I said, trying not to seem too weird about it. I took my phone and snapped a picture of it.

At the end of the museum, there was a huge water fountain outside.

"Everyone get together in from of the fountain!" The teacher called. She took her phone out to take a picture of us.

I got onto Ross' back and smiled. Some people held up peace signs or thumbs up.

"I'll post this to the school page tonight so you can all save it from there." The teacher told us.

"Wow, today has gone by so fast." I said, walking to the bus with Ross.

"Tell me about it. It's already dinner time." Ross said to me. We got onto the bus and sat down together.

"Where are we going for dinner?" Some kid asked.
