Friday night. Ross has been ignoring me since he found out I was dating Tyler. Emma is still in the hospital. Ross and I have to spend the weekend with her so Anna can work. Nobody will tell me what Aubrey put on her story. Brody has been staying with Cathy, and she's been taking him to school.
"I'll drive you to the house, then I have a friend coming to pick me up for the game." Ross said once we were in the truck. I agreed and he drove straight home. We both went inside.
I went to get a snack from the kitchen and Ross just sat in the living room.
"Cody is here. Bye." Ross said. I heard him get up.
"Good luck!" I said. He ignored it and walked out the door. I wish we could just be best friends again.
from tyler: wanna hang out? ;)
to tyler: sure. can you come over? ross isn't home
from tyler: i'll be over
I got up and changed into some sweatpants, but still looked presentable. I pulled up my hair and then sat on the couch, playing on my phone while I waited for Tyler. This was the first time we've hung out alone since NYC.
Although he wasn't Ross, he was a good replacement. It's a bad thing to say, I know. But what else am I supposed to do? Wait around for Ross to get over the fact that I dated Tyler? No.
I heard Tyler pull in. He walked up to the door and knocked, I ran to open it.
"Hey. About time we finally hang out together." Tyler said. I pulled him in for a hug. "Someone's feeling affectionate." He smiled.
"Yeah, i'm just glad to be with you. Alone, you know." I said.
"So, what do you have planned? We could go somewhere if you want." Tyler said.
"Do you want to just stay home? I'm feeling lazy. We could watch a movie or something." I suggested.
"Okay, sounds great." He said. He took off his shoes and sat beside me on the couch.
"What movie do you want to watch?" I asked.
"Just whatever. I like all movies." Tyler told me.
"Wow, you're easy going. We can just watch whatever is already in." I said. I got up, walked over to the tv and started the movie, then sat down beside Tyler again.
"I thought you said Ross wasn't home?" Tyler asked, looking out the window to his truck.
"Cody picked him up, I don't know why. Maybe so he wouldn't have to drive alone." I said.
"When are you going to get a car?" He asked.
"I don't even have my license yet. I've never found the time to go and get it." I said.
My phone started ringing. I answered it.
"Hey! Are you at the football game yet?" Anna asked.
"No, actually i'm just hanging out at the house. Do you need something?" I asked.
"Well, I've been having a really bad headache. I could use some pain reliever. And the hospital can't give me any without putting me in my own room. I'm not leaving Bella." Anna told me.
"Okay, yeah i'll bring some from the house. Anything else?" I asked.
"No, that's all. How are you going to get here?" She asked.
"Uh, well." I looked at Tyler. "I was just about to invite Tyler out. I'm sure he won't mind stopping at the hospital.."
"Okay. So you two together now?" Anna asked. I already knew she was smirking.
