Sunday was the last day of the weekend before school. I was too tired to party again.
I woke up cuddling Dylan. I got down off the bed without waking him up and sat on Ross' bed.
"Are you awake?" I whispered.
"I am now." Ross said. He pulled his blanket up and I got under it with him. His body was always so warm. He put one arm under my head and one around my side.
"It's already noon." I told him.
"I know. I could barely sleep at all last night. I wasn't even very drunk." Ross said.
"Why couldn't you sleep?" I asked. Something was keeping him up?
"We can talk about it later." Ross said. Everyone else started waking up and searching the fridge for food. We ended up eating microwave popcorn and cereal.
"We better get going. Anna might worry, we've barely seen her at all this weekend." Ross said.
"I'm getting ready to leave, too. I can give you two a ride." Dylan said.
We packed up our stuff, said our goodbyes and met Dylan at his car.
"We really need to start hanging out more. I forgot how fun you were." Dylan said to Ross. They were both in the front seat.
"Yeah man. Come over sometime." Ross said.
We talked about random stuff until we reached our house.
"See ya. Thanks for the ride." Ross said.
"Yeah, thanks. You have my number, right?" I asked.
"I think. See you guys." Dylan pulled out and left. Ross grabbed my hand and we walked inside.
"Hey! How was your weekend?" Anna asked us.
"It was fun. We went swimming and to the movies. They're all pretty fun." Ross said.
"Camille? You like them too?" Anna asked.
"Yeah. They're nice. Ross has pretty good taste in friends." I told her.
"That's good. I'm glad you guys had fun. Since you've been gone all weekend, I need you guys to drive over to Walmart and buy a few things." Anna said.
"Okay. Let me just go put my bag away." Ross said. I followed him and put my bag in my room, too.
"Here's 20$ and the list." Anna handed Ross a small list.
"Okay. We'll be back." Ross said. We went out to his truck and he drove to Walmart.
"So, Dylan told me he likes you." Ross said.
"Yeah, I bet he likes me as much as he likes all the other girls he brings home from parties." I told Ross.
"Well you looked like you liked him. I mean, you supposedly 'got it on' with him. Not to mention, right before you got in the truck and tried to do the same thing with me." Ross said.
"No, it wasn't like that. I'm not like that. Everyone does stuff when they're drunk." I forced a laugh.
"Were you actually..." Ross trailed off.
"Was I actually what?" I asked him.
"Never mind. Anyways, You've kissed everyone in the friend group now." Ross said and laughed.
"Really? I don't remember kissing Becca." I said.
"Ah, maybe not. So looks like you have something to look forward to next weekend." He joked.
