The next morning, we woke up at 5:30 am. The bus was leaving at 6 am. I grabbed my bag and we all walked out to the hallway. I was wearing my hoodie and sweatpants. There were kids roaming everywhere.

"Have you seen my phone?" Someone asked.

"Dude, I can't find my wallet!" Someone else said.

"Let's go before we lose something too." Ross said to me with a smile.

We walked out to the bus and got a seat closer to the back. I sat by the window and he sat beside me, really close.

"I could fall asleep right now." I told Ross.

"Once everyone gets on the bus, you will probably be able to sleep." Ross said. "Oh and I forgot to tell you, this weekend Anna is having another cook out with everyone."

"Okay, cool. Do you think we should invite anyone from school?" I asked him.

The bus started up and pulled out of the parking lot. They announced that the next time we stop will be for lunch.

"Maybe Becca. Everyone else seems too... you know. Something we wouldn't want telling stories around Anna. And there will definitely be story telling at a cook out." Ross told me.

"Yeah, but it should be someone we are both friends with to make it fair." I said.

"We could invite Tyler. He's okay and they're siblings so it would work out." Ross told me. I just remembered, he doesn't know about Tyler and i dating yet.

"Yeah, okay." I said. Instead of leaning my head on Ross' shoulder this time, I leaned up against the window and closed my eyes. The hoodie I was wearing was really soft and I soon fell asleep.

"Hey, we are stopping soon for lunch." Ross said, waking me up.

"What time is it?" I asked him.

"Noon. You've been sleeping for a while." Ross told me.

The bus pulled into a Wendy's parking lot. We all got out and went inside. We ordered and sat at a table. At our table, it was me, Ross, Becca, Tyler, and Callie.

"I hooked up with a hot dude last night." Callie said.

"I wondered where you went." Becca said.

"A random guy?" Tyler asked.

"Not random. I talked to him for a bit, we met on the sidewalk." Callie explained.

"You're lucky he didn't murder you." I laughed.

"Enough talk about that. Did you guys know that if we get home past midnight, we get to skip school tomorrow?" Ross asked.

"Well we better take up as much time at every stop we can then." Tyler said.

"Yeah. Then tomorrow we can all hang out." Becca suggested.

"Most of the homerooms have already gotten back." Callie said.

"Good, then we will be the last ones. Even if we get home before midnight, i'm skipping tomorrow." Ross said.

We all ate for a bit so we could finish before everyone else.

"Camille, come here for a second." Tyler said, standing up. It seemed weird, dating him. It feels like i'm using him to get over Ross. But I actually like Tyler. I got up and followed him out the door.
