Monday morning I woke up to my alarm on my phone. I jumped up and realized that I was still in the barn, laying with Ross underneath me.
"What time is it?" Ross groaned.
"Time to leave! Ugh, I barely slept at all and i'm not even showered. I smell like cat birth and horse barn." I said.
"Wanna skip? We can drop off Bella and Brody then come back home." Ross said. Wow, I thought he was mister goodie two shoes.
"Hmm... only because Cleo needs us." I laughed. We got up and walked inside, Bella and Brody were already dressed.
"We got ready on our own!" Bella said.
"Good job! Now let's get to the truck, we might be late." Ross said. We all got into the truck and Ross drove to the school. Once we got there, I dropped Bella and Brody off at their classroom and Ross started driving back home.
"I'm so tired. I could sleep all day." I told Ross, closing my eyes and resting my head against the window.
"Still can't believe we fell asleep in the barn. Having a cat is pretty cool though." Ross told me.
"Sorry you've been spending so much money on me lately." I said.
"No, don't worry. Really, it hasn't been that much. Your happiness is worth more money than i could ever offer." Ross said. I wanted to say something cute and cheesy back, but I fell asleep so quickly.
Next thing I know, I woke up in my bed. I looked over to see Ross, I was half way on top of him.
"Thank goodness you're awake. I forgot to bring my phone over here." Ross laughed.
"Why don't you just go get it?" I asked.
"You were comfortable on my arm. And so warm. I carried you in from the truck, by the way." Ross said.
"Thanks. But i'm still sleepy." I whispered, nuzzling my head into his neck.
"As much as I would love to lay here like this with you for the rest of my life, we better go get showers so our hair will be dry when Anna gets back. And we reek of barn smells." Ross chuckled.
"Ugh." I got up, got some clean clothes and went to the bathroom. I took a shower and afterwards I went to the couch to lay down.
"Cam, wanna make some cookies?" Ross asked from the kitchen. I got up and walked in beside him. He was already showered too.
"Cookies would be great." I said. Ross got the ingredients out and we started mixing.
"Do you like cookie dough?" Ross asked, looking at me.
"Well I guess. I mean I love cookies but i've never tried uncooked dough. I was taught that it would make you sick and die." I said awkwardly.
"Really? They just tell you that to scare you. You have to try it." Ross got a scoop of cookie dough with the spoon and basically fed it to me. It was actually pretty good.
"Not bad." I said. Ross looked at my lips.
"You have a little..." Ross leaned closer. I was going to reach my hand up and wipe the cookie dough off of my lip, but Ross beat me to it. He slowly licked the dough off of my bottom lip and started kissing me. I leaned my body into his and he wrapped his arms around me. We started making out and I was really enjoying it. We had the house to ourself.
"I'm sorry." Ross muttered as he jerked away, took a step back and looked at the ground.
"Sorry for what?" I asked quietly. I always think i did something wrong.
