"Ross..." I began. He held both of my hands in his.

"Whats the worse that could happen? I like you, you like me. Let's stop being pussys and actually date. We will both stop being so complicated and confusing and we can just go with the flow." He begged. He did have a good point.

"Okay. Yes- i'll be your girlfriend." I said.

"Really?" He asked excitedly. I nodded, then he picked me up and twirled around.

"People are still sleeping." I laughed, trying to quiet him down.

"I couldn't care less. All I care about right now is you." Ross hugged my tightly.

"Does this mean you'll actually sleep in here tonight? I was pretty lonely last night." I joked.

"Of course." He said. I pulled him into my bed by his hand. He wrapped his arms around my stomach and nuzzled his face into my neck.

"Should we tell Anna?" I asked quietly.

"Let's just enjoy tonight and worry about everyone else tomorrow." He said, putting his head on the pillow beside me and started staring at me.

"Why do you always stare at me?" I asked with a smile.

"I'm not staring. More like... gazing." He said.

"Do you still have my iPod from when I let you borrow it?" I asked.

"Yeah, i'll get it." He said, getting up and walking to his room. He came back with the iPod and handed me an earbud.

"You pick a song." I told him. He clicked one and I laid my head on his chest as I waited for it to begin.

Monday morning, it was just Ross and I going to school. It was so different without Bella and Brody.

In homeroom, Callie was still missing.

"I've called and texted her. No answer." Becca told me.

"That's so weird. I really wonder where she is. Or if she's okay." I said. "But guess what." I whispered, leaning towards her. Ross was turned around talking to his friends as usual. She leaned towards me. "Ross asked me out last night."

"No way!" She whisper-yelled.

"Yes!" I told her.

"About time. That makes me so happy." Becca said.

"Yeah, i'm more nervous than happy." I told her. Before she could question me, the bell rang for first period.

After that, the day was pretty boring.

"I mean Anna already knows that we're close." I told Ross on the way home.

"You think she would let us date? Living under her roof? And if we do, no way she'll let us hang out alone as much as we do already." Ross said.

"Either way, we can't hide it from her." I told him. He pulled into the driveway. The dreaded moment was near.

"Should we tell her together?" I whispered to him, walking to the house.

"Maybe if you tell her it will be better." He said.

We walked inside and greeted Anna, then Ross went back to his room. Anna was playing with Julia.

"How was school?" Anna asked as I sat on the floor beside Julia.

"School was school. Pretty boring." I said. How was I supposed to bring up the topic of Ross and I?

"So your drivers test is scheduled for tonight before dinner. We have to leave soon." She told me.

"Okay. That's great, thanks." I said.
