The next day was basically a lazy day. Also the day that I found out Anna's birthday is soon!

"Ross, we have to throw her a surprise party." I said as we were feeding the horses.

"Yeah! We could have another family cookout thing. Invite the neighbors and everyone." He suggested.

"She would love that. But how would we invite everyone?" I asked.

"I guess we could walk to all the neighbors houses. Family lives a while away, though." Ross said.

"I mean, you do own a truck." I said.

"Yeah, okay. Now we need a lie to cover up what we are doing when Anna asks." Ross told me.

"Hmm. Let's say we wanted to get some icecream for everyone tonight. And she will even give us money, we can just stop by the store." I said.

"Good idea. Let's go." Ross lead me back to the house. I waited in his truck as he went in to tell Anna where we were going. A minute later he joined me in the truck.

"So, you know the way to anyone's house?" I asked.

"Well, there's this old lady who i used to pick up groceries for. She's nice and always comes to the cookouts. Her name is Cathy. It's a start." He said.

We drove the old country back roads with the windows down for about 10 minutes until he pulled into the driveway to a small house.

"Well, this is it." Ross said. We both got out and walked to the front door. He knocked.

A few seconds later, a little old lady opened the door.

"Oh Rossy! Handsome as ever. And... Cameron was it?" She questioned.

"Camille, actually. Nice to see you again, Cathy." I smiled at her. I don't even remember this lady from the cookout, I just remember Ross saying her name.

"Well come on in! What brings you two young ones here today?" She asked, leading us inside to her couch.

"Well, as you might know, Anna's birthday is soon. We wanted to throw her a surprise birthday party. We were thinking a cookout like usual, but with cake, icecream, and she will have no idea." Ross explained.

"Oh my! She would love that. I've known her for quite a long time and never remember her having a birthday party. Maybe I just wasn't invited!" She laughed.

"So, we came to invite you. And we were hoping you could direct us to someone else to invite, too." Ross asked.

"Oh, you are busy kids! I can handle inviting the entire crew. Bout time I start helping!" She laughed again.

"Are you sure? If it's not any trouble, that would really help." Ross sighed.

"No problem, Rossy. I'll just call the crew up! Now let me write this down so I don't forget... what day?" She asked.

"Uhm... Camille? What day?" Ross asked me.

"Let's go with the day after tomorrow. It's the day before her birthday and it will give everyone, including us, enough time." I said.
