Around 9:30, Jake and I sat on my bed and waited for Ross. Jake was wearing a maroon muscle shirt and it really made his arms pop. He was so attractive and tan. That color really went well with his hair.
"Ross is your foster brother, right?" Jake asked me.
"Yeah. He's cool, you'll like him." I said.
"Sweet." Jake replied.
"You ready for that pregame we collected?" I smiled, pulling a bottle out of my bag. After taking a quick chug, I handed it to Jake. He wasn't a sissy and did the same as me.
"Not as bad as I was expecting. Actually it's pretty good." Jake told me.
"Yeah, my favorite. You took it well." I laughed.
"The warm feeling is actually pretty nice. Have you ever smoked?" Jake asked me.
"Nothing major. Have you?" I asked.
"Well, yeah. But not anymore." He told me.
"The truck might be a bit crowded. But once we get to the party, it's always a fun time. This one is at my friend Dylan's house." I told Jake.
"Awesome. Is that our ride?" Jake asked, seeing Ross' truck across the road.
"Yep." I led the way out the window, the same way I had done the night before. When we got to the truck, Tyler and Ross were already in the front seat. There's only supposed to be 3 in the front but there isn't a back seat, so we all smushed in. It was Ross, Tyler, me, then Jake.
"Hey guys. This is Jake. Jake, this is Ross and Tyler." I introduced them.
"I've heard a lot about you." Jake said to Ross, which he hasn't.
"Well Jake, you're about to experience a party like never before. We go hard." Tyler said seriously.
"He's kidding. I mean, unless you want to." I told Jake.
"We don't go hard, but we've certainly gone hard. If that makes sense." Ross said.
"Totally. How far away is the place?" Jake asked.
"Not too long. On the way here, we found a backroad that basically leads straight to our house. Dylan doesn't live too far from our house. Maybe 15 minutes." Ross explained.
"Wow, I didn't know that." I said.
We all talked until we got to Dylan's house. There were already a bunch of cars there, so we parked around back and went through that door.
"Wow, more people than I expected. Is that a keg?" Jake asked, enthusiastically.
"Yeah, but let's wait a little before you try that." I laughed.
"Yo Tyler! Ross! Who's this?" Dylan asked, walking up to us.
"Dylan, this is my friend Jake." I said.
"Nice party dude." Jake told him.
"Thanks man. Guys, come up to my room real quick. I got some good stuff to show you." Dylan said to Ross and Tyler. With that, they followed him upstairs.
"This is pretty weird. I don't know any of these people." Jake told me.
"Well, neither do I. Let's get some drinks." I said. He followed me to the counter of drinks and grabbed a random cup.
"This house is huge." Jake looked around.
"Wanna go to the game room? Usually they play truth or dare. It's really fun." I asked Jake. He nodded and held my hand as we walked to the party room. There, the only lights were rope lights around the ceiling. About 6 other people were there, including Zach. Some music was playing.
