Christmas

HOLLIES POV:

Wooo it's Christmas Eve! This was the best part of Christmas.

"Wake up! Wake up!" Lauren sung from in the hall. She popped her head round the door and her face lit up.

"It's Christmas Eve!" She beamed.

"Ergh Lauren." Dan laughed as he stood up and pulled me out of bed.

"C'mon we need to finish decorating, bake cookies, drop the presents round for the family and go to matts house!" Lauren ran back into her and Kyles room excitedly.

"I can't wait for her to move out." I laughed tying my hair into a messy bun.

"Oh Hollie don't be so horrible." Dan laughed innocently. I rolled my eyes sarcastically and me and dan went down the stairs. Lauren and Kyle shortly followed and we all sat down and ate some toast.

"Okay so shall we drop the presents round to Lauren's brothers and Alfie first, then go to Chloe's and then to hollies mum and dads and then to dans mum and dads." Kyle said a little sadly. I looked at him sadly and he smiled. He had lost his mum and dad a long time ago, but I can imagine it hurt him a lot. Lauren snuggled up to him and kissed his cheek and he cheered up a little.

"Sounds like a plan. Then go to matts and then back here to make cookies!" Dan smiled. We all happily went back upstairs to get ready and grab the presents. We got into the car and I drove everyone to Lauren's old house and we all went inside. When we went in ben was on the sofa with josh both crying.

"Boys what's wrong?" I said sitting in between them and hugging them both.

"This is the first Christmas without Louise." Alfie said walking in. The boys looked up and Alfie handed them a cup of hot chocolate each.

"I miss mummy." Jake said softly walking in.

"I know babe." Lauren said siting down next to josh.

"Well you guys your presents are in the hall." Alfie said cheering everyone up.

"Ky's got yours." Lauren smiled taking the bag off of Kyle and handing it to Alfie. The boys suddenly became happy again as they grabbed their presents from the bag and placed them under the tree.

"Such kids." I laughed.

"Ho ho ho!" Someone shouted as they opened the front door. "Merry Christmas."

Mark walked in holding a big sac of presents and of course he was dressed as Santa. Jake screamed with excitement as mark walked in.

"You alright mate." He said shaking dan and ky's hands. Mark saw me and Lauren and immediately ran over and squashed us into a big hug.

"How have you been." I smiled as everyone had settled down and we were all drinking tea.

"I'm good. Great actually, I've moved in with my girlfriend and yeah everything's going great, how about you?"mark said happily.

"Same old really. We don't go to university no more though so we have a lot of free time!" I giggled.

"Oh yeah I bet, so when are you going to start working?" He asked.

"Well I'm not sure yet. I've got an interview at the end of January for a news paper so hopefully!" I crossed my fingers and mark turned to Lauren.

"What about you then lil sis?" He laughed.

"Well I'm going on tour so I have no idea." She giggled.

"And how's the band?" He said to the boys.
