I ended up arriving back at my hotel at 5 in the morning, and I woke up at 1 in the afternoon. I picked up my phone, after I had a little stretch and yawn, to see 5 missed calls from Jihyun, 2 missed calls from GD, emails from my manager and assistant and a text from Jackson. Yikes. I decided to call Jihyun first.
~beep beep~
"....Y/N WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN I'VE BEEN TRYING TO CONTACT YOU AND JUNGKOOK FOR AGES!" He yelled through the phone.
"Oh my God Ji I'm so sorry! I got back early in the morning and only just got up, sorry for making you worry, Jungkook went home too." I sat up in bed, rubbing my eyes.
"I'm just glad you're both safe. Wait, you went with Yugyeom too though riiiighhtt?"
"Haha yeah, but it's not what you think, we're just good friends now!" I said, satisfied.
"..And you're okay with that?" He asked as if he wasn't convinced.
"Well yeah, I got to know him better and I don't know, he's more childish than I imagined, but in a cute way, it's just not what I'm interested in right now I guess." I was telling Jihyun the truth. I still found Yugyeom very attractive and fun to be around, I just wasn't sure if he was the one for me...probably because I kept comparing him to someone else...even though I thought I was over them.
"Well that's fair then, if he doesn't have any feelings for you either then he should be fine with being just friends too."
"But Ji, how am I even gonna be able to be friends with him if I'm literally going back home today? I probably won't see him for years or something."
"O--oh yeah, Jiyong said to call him, so I'm gonna hang up now okay, I'll see you when I see you!" Jihyun said, basically ignoring what I just said.
"Um, I'm seeing you at the airport tonight, you idiot." How could he forget, we were literally taking the same flight back to LA tonight?
"Call Jiyongie, ok? Byyeeeeee," was the last thing he said before he hung up.
Before calling GD, I decided to read the emails from my manager and assistant.
Woops.
Both emails had similar attachments; news and pictures of me and Yugyeom walking together at night. One caption read, 'American singer Y/N spotted taking Kim Yugyeom of GOT7 back to her hotel after MAMA...:NEW COUPLE?'
"Pffft haha." I wasn't mad, I found it funny actually.
I decided to text Yugyeom about it:
Y/N: Morning, my manager just sent me something interesting.
Yugyeom: Morning :) And I think I know what you're talking about...the photo's of us together? I'm so sorry about getting you into this.
Y/N: Haha don't worry about it, it's funny to me. At least WE know we're just friends.
Yugyeom: That's good to hear :) and yeah the rumours should die out soon as well, as that's probably our last meet up in a while :(
Y/N: True, but that's good for the rumours to go away though!
Yugyeom: Yeah
He's so sweet, I thought to myself.
"Hmmm, guess I'll call GD next then..." I said to myself, as I dialled his number.
After 5 beeps, he picked up, "Y/N, you're finally awake? Listen I'm coming over to pick you up for some serious business in about a half hour, you think you can have your bags packed and be ready for me by then?"
