akaashi opened the door to the living room after taking his shoes off and placing them neatly in the shoe cupboard in the genkan. his eyebrows furrowed at the sight before him.

tea was lying on the sofa with a box of pocky in her arms, as well as a small carton of milk placed on the coffee table. her eyes were glued to the television, which was showing a boku no hero academia marathon.

he walked over and sat down on the little empty space near her feet on the couch. slowly, he leaned over and took the box of pockys from her.

"two hundred and twenty calories? tea-san, this is too much," he said as he read the nutrition info stuck at the side.

"it's not like i eat pocky for all my three meals, keiji," she said, taking the box back from him and stuffing a stick of the chocolate-covered biscuit into her mouth, "and besides, it's just a snack."

"it contains too much calories," he said, then standing up, "let's go."

"nooooo!" she whined, "it's getting to the really good part where deku is gonna punch the nomu!"

he sighed, "you've watched this before. now let's go."

with much whining and persuasion, akaashi and managed to drag tea outside. thankfully, the weather was not punishing like the usual hot summer days. there was a gentle breeze blowing, and there was not too much sunlight.

"where are we going?" the brunet asked, trying to catch up to her boyfriend. as he was taller, his strides were much larger than hers.

"to the konbini to get nutritional snacks," the ravenette answered.

their destination was in front of them, and he dragged her inside. there were shelves of bottled and canned drinks and candies. boxes of every single bento imaginable were stacked, as well as fridges of iced drinks.

tea was eyeing all the prawn crackers and what akaashi dubbed as 'unhealthy' snacks before akaashi dragged her away.

"we're getting dried fruits," he said as he picked some packets of dried mangoes and apples off the rack.

"cut me some slack for once keiji!" she whined.

"you can't gorge yourself on these calorie-rich food all the time," he scolded, proceeding to the counter.

"can we grab some iced coffee?" she asked, "pretty please?"

"okay, but help me get one heated coffee too," he said, "thanks."

he watched her dash off to the fridges with a slight shake of his head. if she was going to be this unhealthy for the rest of her life, he would have to look after her for the rest of his life.
