tea, like a normal person, owned a number of shirts. out of all of them, there was this one shirt she liked  and was definitely her personal favourite. it was grey and had a picture of mickey mouse on it.

akaashi, being simply adorable, thought it would be a great idea if they both had the same shirt. you know, twinning shirts.

he had that idea while browsing through tumblr and saw a number of pictures of couples wearing shirts of the same design, or any outfit that was identical.

after getting that idea, he went out to go and get a shirt of the same design. he came back home with the shirt in the bag before heading up to tea's room.

"tea-san?" he said as he poked his head through the open door.

"keiji, we're dating and you can call me tea," she said as she whirled around on her chair, "besides, i'm younger than you."

"it's a habit," he said with a small shrug, "anyway, do you have your favourite mickey mouse shirt with you right now?"

"yeah," she answered, "why do you ask?"

"could i bother you to change into that for a bit?" he asked shyly.

puzzled, she said, "okay...?"

he gave a small smile and said, "right, when you're done, you can head into the living room."

she was definitely confused at her boyfriend's behaviour, but she did what she was told.

donning her mickey mouse shirt and black shorts, she headed into the living room. to her surprise, akaashi was wearing the exact same shirt, just bigger sized (duh).

"you got yourself a shirt that has the same design as this?" she asked as she pulled at her shirt.

"y-yeah," he whispered, then continued in a quieter voice, "i thought it would be nice if we wore a shirt with the same design."

a pink hue dusted her cheeks as she said, "that's so cute of you.

"thanks, keiji."

[ a/n : because i secretly had the headcannon that what if the person jam mentioned on whatsapp that had the same mickey mouse shirt was akaashi + keirissa doesn't deserve this much angst but they're well-suited for angst idk what to feel about this + my drabbles are getting longer new achievement unlocked ]
