in which iwaizumi loves belinda but ends up coughing up petals
hajime watched her from afar, unable to say anything. to him, belinda was too far out of his league. she was brilliant, amazing and far too... good. too good for him, too good to reciprocate his feelings.
that familiar constricted feeling began to return, his lung walls tightening its grip on his throat. his hand instinctively flew to his mouth as his feet carried him away.
as he tumbled into the washroom, he began his coughing fit, petals getting choked out. they were black, stained with splotches of red. blood.
as his condition worsened, the colour of the flowers began to change. they started off as pastel, ranging from pastel pink, violet and blue. as it got worse, the petals turned duller and duller, then finally turning black. and now, to top it all off, they were decorated with stains of blood.
he knew his condition was serious, yet he did not want to get those petals removed. removing them would mean the love he felt for her would be gone.
he didn't care. sure, he could die from the love that he didn't receive back, but that won't stop him from loving her. and it would be worth it.
