whenever they talked, it was she who started it first. she was the one that initiated everything. she thought he reciprocated because he felt the same way about her. she thought she was special.
one day, she wondered why she was starting all of this first.
so she stopped.
she didn't start conversations or banter of any sort. she wanted to see if anything would happen.

and when she saw him initiate these little things for someone else, it finally sank in.

she had gotten too far of herself; her head in the clouds.
and when reality finally sank in, it hurt like hell.
