I rushed through the halls, feeling him closely behind as I quickly approached the Great Hall.
Dinner was rather uneventful, nothing interesting happened, well nothing that I didn't already know of right.
There was still talk about this morning's events circulating but details were slowly distorting into things that didn't make sense or wouldn't happen.
Tom kept trying to speak to me, but I quickly deterred him, and spoke to Bella.
It was almost nine; I was now locked in my room reading more spells when I came across one spell that left me curious as to what exactly it could do.
Severus had offered to help me with my studies but Tom quickly told him that he would be the one to help me. Which left me with the only other option, do it by myself.
Seeing as everyone was questioning me, I didn't feel the need to prove to myself. Not to them, yet I loved feeling the surge of power as I used those spells.
Surely another demonstration would help cure their questioning.
Earlier today when my head began to throb I realized I was beginning to get a handle of the visions that were being thrown my way.
I could now see the future, not exactly at will, but if I concentrated enough I could see or catch glimpses.
The only thing that happened was the energy would drain from me, so much so, that if I still get large visions I still pass out for an unknown amount of time.
I learn a couple of more spells before shutting the book and concealing it in the side drawer next to my bed.
I was practically giddy to practice what I had learn.
As the time for the meeting grew closer, I slipped out of my bed and went to get changed out of my uniform.
I slid into my long sleeved, black lace, maxi dress. Fastening my onyx jeweled choker around my neck before I turned to slip my cloak on.
I followed by braiding the front section of my hair, and pinned both braids to meet in the back of my head. And stepping into my shoes.
When I knew I was ready, I grabbed my wand and I quietly slipping out of my room.
Walking quietly while staying in the shadows of the common room, before slipping out.
The halls were still litters with students here and there as I purposely continued to stay within the shadows the now coated the corridors.
When I neared the edge of the castle, I waited for an opportunity. before walking down the hill.
Pulling my hood onto my head as I slowly made reached the forest.
I managed to keep from too much attention as I made my way out of the castle, successfully.
But as I walked into the shadows of the Forbidden Forest, now I realized I wasn't alone. And knew almost immediately who it was just by the strong smell of cologne.
The air stunk, smelling as if the person had bathed in nothing but the cheap cologne, making my nose burn and my eyes water in the the moment I recognized it.
"My lady." He muttered a greeting through tight lips, walking beside me as we made our way towards the clearing.
"Avery." I acknowledged as we walked into the clearing.
I noticed everyone was already present. Everyone but Tom.
I felt my nose wrinkle in disgust at the smell of Avery's foul-smelling cologne as I stopped where the group had gathered.
