The air was tense as Tom slowly lead me through the shadows within the emptied corridors out of the castle, our hoods concealing our faces.
I followed quietly behind him, trying to keep my balance down the steep hill that lead to the Forbidden Forest.
Nothing but the occasional blow of the wind, and crunch of the rocks, branches and leaves beneath our feet could be heard. The silence was eerie. It was as though even the creatures that resided within the forest were quiet tonight.
Walking through the uneven ground of the forest seemed to be rather unnerving.
The air seemed to carry the tension as we walked the forest, as we reached a certain point in the trail, Tom reaching behind him to clasp my hand into his as we neared the usual damp clearing near Black Lake.
"Dolohov. Yaxley." He said, flicking his wrist.
I raised an eyebrow at him in question as I watched him torture them.
'When did you learn wandless magic?' I thought, questioning him, as feeling my eyebrows disappear farther into my hair.
'You're not the only one with tricks up their sleeves. I've been practicing, though I can't deny that doing this is not without difficulty.' He thought as the muscles on his neck began to strain.
"Ignore him while he entertains himself." I grumbled, rolling my eyes at him, stepping towards the center of the clearing, where I proceeded to begin pacing.
Tom must have realized that I was beginning to get annoyed with him, because he suddenly was standing next to me.
"I am sure you all realize why we gathered you lot, out here." He said, pacing before them, staring them all down as he did so. "With recent events, new information has come to light. Some that can be rather vital in order for us to win this war with Kuznetsova. It can either be our victory or our downfall and death." He said, speaking with an unwavering voice; traveling in the wind giving it an eerie edge to it.
"He's coming at the beginning of next May." I cut in, shocking a few people with the hatred in my voice.
"Yes, now for the next part of information... We've discovered that there has been a mole within the castle, and have yet to confirm this bit of information with the person, herself." He said, inclining his head to the side.
Bellatrix and Cissy both walked out from the shadows with a struggling Lacy Davidson floating behind them, as she hung suspended in the air by her left ankle.
"Wonderful." I muttered, turning towards my left, "Severus, let her down, will you?" I said, jerking my head toward the floating figure.
He nodded, pulling out his wand swiftly as and flicking it towards the floating Ravenclaw.
"Liberacorpus." He called.
He had come up with a few spells in the last few years, some of which he showed me and our group while we trained in offensive and defensive spells.
"Lacy. Lacy, Lacy. Do you realize why you are here, doll?" I asked, my voice no bigger than a whisper, as I watched her scramble clumsily to her feet.
"N-no. I just remember Bellatrix and Narcissa approaching me after dinner and everything else going dark. Why am I here? W-where is here?" She asked, as she looked around terrified.
"I will be asking the questions here." I snapped flicking my wrist, sending her a wave of pain.
She collapsed on the ground screaming as the wave hit her; her body contorting in pain as she withered on the damp ground.
I flicked my wrist again, looking down at her as she gasped mouthfuls of air.
'No Cruciatus Curse?' Tom thought, raising an eyebrow in question
"Now, do you have clear as to who is asking whom the questions here?" I asked, ignoring Tom.
She whimpered in response, nodding quickly when she realized I was waiting for her response.
"I'll make this easier for you, by going straight to the point. Who is the person you have been collaborating for the past months when you go to the Hog's Head?" I asked, feeling Tom place a calming hand on my lower back.
"I-I don't...nah-know." She stuttered.
Raising an eyebrow at her, before began raising my wrist. "Crucio!" Tom called, watching a red spark appeared from his wand shooting towards her.
"You better answer me clearly, I can make this a load worse for you, if you don't." I said, in a bored tone.
"I don't — I don't know his name! I met him one day. Over the summer break!" She gasped, weakly.
'She's lying.' Tom said wordlessly, looking over at me.
'I know.' I replied, sighing in frustration.
I walked towards her, placing my fingertips onto her clammy, and mud-covered forehead.
Closing my eyes in concentration as I pushed into her mind, quickly pushing out the pain before continuing to dive into her feeble mind.
I saw a lot of things, two of the things that stood out. Number one, was that she used my uncle Seamus to pull information out of him, of me. And number two that she was in fact giving this information to Nikolai. Anger began coursing through my veins as realized that it was her. She was, in fact, the traitor.
I removed my fingertips from her mind, pushing forwards the pain she felt, and stood up feeling disgust towards her, and her actions.
"Word of advice, the next time you want to betray someone, make sure it isn't the person that is trying to save your worthless life." I said, disgusted.
"Maxime dolor intolerabilis." I said, flicking my wrist.
"Take her to the hospital wing, you found her in the corridor that leads to the library. Nothing more, nothing less." I said, looking at Avery, inclining my head towards the left.
Annoyance and anger didn't seem to cover what I felt, I felt betrayed not only by this insignificant girl but by my uncle, unintentionally of course.
I was so lost in thought, I completely missed when Tom dismissed everyone, and began slowly guiding me back towards the castle, and towards a different floor.
Confused as he led me towards the girls' bathroom.
He whispered something under his breath.
The slow creaking of the porcelain sink as it moved positions before disappearing under the creaking drain gate. When the sink finally disappeared, Tom pulled my hand before leading me towards the opening, where he proceeded to pull me down the drain.
I felt my eyes widen as we slid down the cool wide metal pipe, landing on him.
I looked around the space we landed, realizing we landed on what looked to be a graveyard of dead small animals.
Cringing as our shoes began to crunch on the small bones. The soles of our shoes snapping them easily.
He then lead into what looked like a cemented cave, one that held the dead skin of a thirty foot snake skin.
We finally came to a stop before a serpent covered door.
I gasped in realization of where he was leading me.
"Why are we here?" I asked.
He looked back towards me before he whispered something under his breath.
One of the serpents began circle quickly around the length of the door, before the others retrieved an inch, and the door sprang opened.
