HTTYD ONE SHOT BOOK

Argument

Hey guys! I still have two other stories I'm in the middle of writing so after this one I'm going to work on those before I finish the other two requests and others you may give me.

Requested by FireDragon20: After Hiccup and Stoick get in a fight, Stoick is on the verge of banishing Hiccup. Hiccup knows his dad needs time to cool and so he goes to his girlfriend, Astrid. While they are talking Stoick has time to think about what he almost did and what he did do. 

Yeah.....I hope you like it... btw my writer's block is returning and I hardly have any ideas...But school is starting next Tuesday: Sept. 5th. So I won't write as much so I will try to finish these stories and see what I have time to write during the school year.

Hiccup was sitting at his desk in his hut on Berk. Stoick had been gone for a few hours cause of a meeting and Hiccup knew that he was going to be cranky after that.

That's when Stoick barged into the house. 

"HICCUP!" the over-tired, cranky chief bellowed.

Hiccup's eyes widened. He knew that his dad would get upset. Just not to this extent. 

"Yeah dad? What is it?" Hiccup asked, cautiously walking down from his loft.

(Sorry Idk what they should argue about.....something about the dragons.....*shrugs*)

After nearly an hour of them yelling at each other, Hiccup just walked out of the front door. He closed it, Stoick still yelling.

He sighed and said to himself, "He just needs time to cool off. He's just really tired."

With that he began to walk to the academy, where Astrid was training by herself at that very moment.

"Hello M'lady." Hiccup said, walking into the academy.

"Oh! Hey babe. What are you doing here? I thought that you were working on the Book of Dragons?"

Hiccup sighed and sat down on a box, "I was until Dad basically slammed the door open. Then shut cause he just got down at a meeting. Then he just started to yell at me. And..."

"Don't tell me you yelled back." Astrid said, sitting down next to him.

"I yelled back. I think he was close to disowning me again so...........I left." Hiccup said.

"I think it's a good thing that you did." Astrid said, kissing his cheek.

"Yup. Definitely good that I left." Hiccup said, pulling her in for a long kiss.

Mean while......

Stoick was taking a nap. Thor knows that he needed it. When he woke up he was thinking that he was so stupid for almost disowning his son - again.

'I'll apologize when he gets back.' Stoick thought, 'Now I'm going to rest.'

So Stoick relaxed in his bed and was soon in a deep sleep.

About 4 hours later.....

Hiccup cautiously made his way into the house. Only to find Stoick asleep in his bed. Hiccup look out the window and saw that the sun had set. At that moment he yawned. He went by his dad and laid down next to him like he did when he was little. Soon both Haddock's were sleeping peacefully. Just like old times.

The next morning....

Stoick woke up to see Hiccup curled up next to him - sleeping deeply. Stoick sighed and smiled at his sleeping boy. While Stoick was thinking back to when Hiccup was a tiny child, Hiccup started to wake.

"Morning dad." Hiccup mumbled, moving closer to Stoick.

"Morning son." Stoick said softly, "How did you sleep?"

"Good. You?"

"Great." Stoick said, before he could say anything else: Hiccup was fast asleep.

Stoick chuckled and brushed Hiccup's bangs out of his face.

"Sleep well son." Stoick whispered, before falling back to sleep himself.

So there was a bit of Hiccstrid and father/son bonding :)

I hope that you liked it.
