HTTYD ONE SHOT BOOK

The unexpected (SPOILERS AGAIN)(MAYBE IDK)

"So we flew west....for what 3 hours almost?" Chief Hiccup Haddock asked, looking up at his wife, Astrid.

Astrid looked up from where she was reading with their daughter, 4 year old Zephyr. Astrid's hand was on her baby bump. Zephyr looked between her mother and father, a bit confused.

"What are you talking about daddy?" Zephyr asked,tilting her head to the right.

"He's trying to find the Hidden World......again," Astrid said, with a slight smile, "And yes Hic, we did fly west for about 3 hours."

"Thanks m'lady," Hiccup said, going back to his maps.

"Mommy, will you tell me about the dragons again?" Zephyr asked, looking at Astrid with wide blue eyes.

"Sure Zeph. Hey Hiccup can you hand me the book please?"

"Hmm? What?" Hiccup asked, looking up.

Astrid rolled her eyes, "The dragon book...can you get it for me?"

"Okay....wait which book?" Hiccup asked, going over to the bookshelf.

"The dragon book......"

"Again I ask you: which one?" Hiccup asked, looking over the books.

"The book of dragons, the book you wrote, and the one we bought from that new trader...."

"You mean Trader Colborn?" Hiccup asked, grabbing the books.

"Yes. Though I keep thinking about Trader Johann," Astrid said with a shiver.

"Same.....I keep wondering how Dagur, Mala, and Heather are.....along with the Edge, Wingmaidens, Outcasts....." Hiccup sighed, "I wonder if any of them went to old Berk to find it abandoned.....I wonder if they still have their dragons....I wonder......"

"Stop talking and get working chief," Astrid joked, getting the blanket off the back of their couch to wrap around herself and Zephyr. 

"Yeah yeah rub it in," Hiccup dead-panned, heading back to his desk.

Astrid chuckled and began to read to Zephyr about the dragons and the gang's adventures. Hiccup listened to his wife reading the stories that he had written about his childhood and the dragons. While Astrid was reading, Zephyr would ask what the dragons looked like and Astrid would show her pictures.

Finally Zephyr asked, "Is that daddy?"

That got Hiccup's attention away from his planning. Astrid nodded, "Yeah it is sweety. He was 16 when he drew it....He was 15 at the time he trained Toothless though..."

That's when a loud banging interrupted them. Suddenly the door swung open, and off its hinges. Hiccup grabbed his sword and the person yelled, "BROTHER IF YOU DISAPPEAR LIKE THAT AGAIN I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!"

"DAGUR?!" Hiccup exclaimed loudly, dropping his sword with wide eyes.

"Who else calls you brother?" the Berserker chief asked, closing the door.

"How did you get here?" Hiccup asked, a wide smile on his face.

"Sleuther. I got him to track you guys here....It took like 5 years but I did it!"

Hiccup paled, "Y-you guys still have dragons?"

"Yeah.......wait where's your night fury?"

Hiccup teared up and just hung his head. Astrid finally spoke up, "Dagur.....our dragons are in the Hidden W4orld. They have been gone for almost 5 years...."
