*request : Hey, I may be late but can I request. If yes can I have a family like reader is valka's daughter and Valka didn't know she was pregnant when she was taken by stormcutter and years later when hiccup and stoik found her and a happy little family(reader dies instead of stoick) please 🥺 I'm don't know how to write a good story and I'm hoping you could do it for me*

*Oh my thor I'm so so sorry it took me this long to write this! I got caught up with my job and going on day trips with my family! Also to everyone else: I'm so sorry I haven't updated since August 😣 Please forgive me🥺

**We start with Hiccup in the cave during Dragons 2** 

Hiccup and Toothless watched as the dragon...person shook her staff as the dragons in the room began to light up said room with their fire. As the person came closer, Toothless went into protective mode, however he was quickly 'defeated'. 

As the person went to touch Hiccup's face, they gasped. Leaning away they whispered, "Hiccup?"

"Uh..."

The woman quickly took off her mask to reveal green eyes and red hair. "Hiccup? After all this time? How could it be?"

"Uh...should...should I know you?"

She looked away sadly before sighing. "No...you were only a babe... but a mother never forgets."

It was Hiccup's turn to gasp. 

"Come."

So Hiccup followed his recently found mother threw a maze in the caves, shouting questions at her. After a few minutes he fell silent as he exited saying, "Everyone thought you were..."

Looking around he took in the sights in shock. Finally he found his mother and another person sitting on Cloudjumper's back. "This is where you've been for 20 years?" 

Valka nodded and the other person watched him carefully. "You've been rescuing them."

Valka nodded again, this time asking, "Do- Do you like it?"

"I-I don't know...It's a bit much to get my head around to be frank. It's not everyday you find out your mother is some kind of crazy, feral, vigilante dragon lady."

Valka slid down Cloudjumper's wing and gestured for the other girl to follow her. "Hiccup...This is your sister, Y/N."

Hiccup stared at the girl who was a year younger than himself with the grey-green eyes and bright red hair that looked so much like Stoick's. He watched as Valka told Y/N, "This is your older brother Hiccup."

Y/N looked at him as if she was judging him. Finally she startled him by running over and hugging him. They fell over as Valka laughed. The three of them began to laugh and talk.

**We are now at the battle**

"HICCUP!" Stoick shouted across the battlefield as Toothless backed him into a corner. 

Y/N made quickly evaluated the situation before running towards her older brother. "HICCUP!" Y/N screamed, before shoving him out of the way of Toothless' blast. 

Hiccup shook himself before stumbling to his feet. Looking over he saw Y/N laying in a pile of broken ice. "No..."

Running over he pushed the ice off and pulled Y/N out. "Y/N!" 

Stoick and Valka froze as their son called out their daughter's name. They ran over as Hiccup tried to wake Y/N up. Tears filled Valka's eyes as she whispered, "Y/N..."

She checked for a heartbeat as Stoick stood in shock nearby. Suddenly Valka let out a heartbroken sob, pulling Y/N to herself. Stoick walked over and knelt next to his family. Hiccup leaned on him as a tear ran down his face. Their daughter/sister that they had just met was now gone.

"May the Valkyrie's welcome you and lead you threw Odin's great battlefield. May they sing your name with love and fury so that we might hear it rise from the depths of Valhalla. For a young child has fallen.  A warrior, a daughter, a sister, a friend..." Gobber spoke as Stoick, Valka and Hiccup launched their flaming arrows at the small boat that was sailing away with Y/N's body on it.

"I-I'm sorry Y/N...I should have protected you...better...and you would probably still be alive," Hiccup whispered as more tears ran down his face. 

"She was stubborn Hiccup..." Valka told him, "She wanted to save you..." 

"Yeah... But she didn't need to die for me..." Hiccup stated, "I will live...remembering her sacrifice...I will live for her as well..."
