School Fire

Hiccup Haddock was sitting in class quite bored. It was study hall. He was wondering what they were going to do for training when the fire alarm went off.

"THIS IS NOT A DRILL!" someone spoke through the speakers.

"Okay we need to evacuate." the teacher said, grabbing her emergency binder.

Hiccup's locker was right next to the classroom and so he opened it and pulled out his gear. He brought it outside and pulled it on despite the stares he got. Then he went to the principal.

"Third is on scene." He spoke into his radio.

"Copy that Hic." the operator said.

"Ok mom." Hiccup stated stopping in front of the principal.

"Miss Hemling. Where's the fire?" Hiccup asked, looking at principal.

"The chemistry room. I don't know what's burning, Hiccup." she said.

"There are unknown chemicals burning. Advising that all personal wear air masks." Hiccup reported to his mom.

"Okay Hic. Alerting everyone else." Valka stated.

"10-4. Miss Hemling. For safety reasons I suggest that we get everyone out of the area. If those gasses are toxic that means that the smoke can be." Hiccup advised.

Miss Hemilng nodded. Then the science teacher, Mr. Gerber, (Haha that's an actual science teacher at my school) ran over.

"We were using natural gas." He told Hiccup.

Hiccup's eyes widened, "Get everyone away from here - now! Mom, Mr. Gerber said that they were using natural gas."

"10-4 Hic. Whatever you do........"

"I'm going in." Hiccup said.

"Don't go in......" Valka finished lamely.

Hiccup ran into the building. He ran to his locker, he had left it open and he grabbed the small air tank he kept in there. He put it on - coughing.

He ran and got the one small hose that the school kept in the halls. He turned it on and tried to fight the fire. The fire was to out-of-control. It advanced more than it receded.

"This has to work." Hiccup coughed.

But that's when his luck ran out: Again. That's when the building exploded. Hiccup was thrown against the one wall and was knocked unconscious.

Everyone hid as the building exploded.

"HICCUP!" Astrid, Snotlout, and the gang exclaimed.

Stoick began to yell out orders to the firefighters. Then he pulled on his own air mask and ran inside to find his son.

When he found him, he picked him up and hurried out of the building.

Stoick laid him on asphalt next to the engine. He got Hiccup out of his jacket and began CPR. W and Ox then came over with their stuff.

(Yeah he doesn't have the best of luck XD)

A few weeks later, school was relocated and Hiccup was back again.

"Dude you don't have the best of luck." Snotlout said, pointing to the scars that were healing on Hiccup's face.

"I know! I was taken off the Department for a few months!" Hiccup exclaimed.

"That's a good thing." Astrid said.

"No it's not! What am I going to do when there are fires?!" Hiccup asked.

"Sit there and do nothing?" Tuff guessed.

"I can't Tuff! When I'm just sitting and doing nothing: I could be saving a life!" Hiccup said.

"Why do you keep almost getting killed?" Ruff asked.

"Cause I can't sit around and do nothing. Someone has to help." Hiccup said.
