HTTYD ONE SHOT BOOK

YAKNOG?!?!

/////Just thought of this last night when watching 'Gift of the Night Fury'//////

The Wing Maidens, Defenders of the Wing, and the Berserkers were all on Berk, celebrating the winter holidays together. It was a few days after Snoggletog. 

Hiccup was sitting with the gang, Heather and Dagur. He looked around, but he didn't see Astrid.

"Hey guys, where's Astrid?" Hiccup asked, "I thought she'd be here..."

"She told me something about making some....traditional drink?" Heather said, uncertain.

The gang all paled and looked at each other. Snotlout looked around scared, as if he'd be forced to drink it. Dagur, Mala, Heather, and a few of the wing maidens looked confused. But they weren't for long. At that moment Astrid walked in, carrying a shield with a pitcher and a few mugs on it.

Snotlout got up and ran out of the great hall. Astrid watched him go and shrugged, then she walked over to the gang's table. 

"Guys! I improved my recipe for yaknog!" Astrid said, pouring some of the contents into one of the mugs. 

The gang shuttered. Mala and Heather looked concerned. Dagur looked somewhat interested. Astrid looked over the table and said, "Oh come on. Hiccup. You'll try it right?"

Hiccup let out a nervous chuckle and said, "Uh.....sure....It won't almost kill me like last year right?"

The previous year, Astrid had made Hiccup try yaknog and it gave him food poisoning. So he vowed never to have it again...but he didn't want to upset the young woman with the ax who was now also his girlfriend.

Astrid shrugged and said, "It shouldn't."

Hiccup looked nervous as he took a sip from the mug. His eyes widened as he forced that one sip down. He coughed, "What did you put in it this year?!"

Astrid looked down at the mixture, "I don't ,in all honesty, remember....Anyone else wanna try it?"

Everyone quickly shook their heads no and at that moment a small razorwhip tripped Astrid and the yaknog went all over the floor near the table. 

Apparently razorwhips love yaknog, cause all the babys ran over and ate it up. Everyone seemed amazed and Hiccup looked a little green to the face. 

After that the allies of the riders learned never to drink Astrid's yaknog.
