//An idea from maleficent198!! Thanks!! Hiccup and Astrid have to write a song together but could this simple task reveal some truth?
Hiccup Haddock and Astrid Hofferson were sitting in the chorus room working on a project they had been given.
"Hiccup do you wanna work on the piano part of it while I try to think of some words?" Astrid asked, a piece of paper and pencil in hand.
"Sure," Hiccup said, moving to the piano bench.
As Hiccup experimented with different chords and a melody, Astrid was writing furiously. She looked over at Hiccup who was bent over the piano, starting to write down the notes and chords. Another wave of ideas flowed into her mind and she quickly wrote them down. When the bell rang to end the school day, they were almost done.
"Astrid? Do you wanna practice the song now or wait til tomorrow?" Hiccup asked,putting some things in his backpack.
"Tomorrow. Do you want your lyrics? You're free to change them a bit."
"Sure."
Hiccup took his lyrics from Astrid and put it in his backpack with the piano music. Then they split ways and went home.

Later that night...
Hiccup was at his desk changing a few of the words before he went to bed.

The next day during free time at school....
Hiccup and Astrid were back in the choir room.
"You ready to do this?" Hiccup asked.
"Yes." Astrid said, looking at her music.
Hiccup began to sing, (start video!!!!!!!) slowly adding accompaniment. Soon Astrid joined in.
When they finished singing, they looked each other in the eye.
"Astrid-" "Hiccup-"
They looked at each other and laughed, before Hiccup said, "That was fantastic. i can't believe that you wrote that."
"We wrote it goofball," Astrid chuckled.
"You wrote most of the words though."
"And you wrote the music."
"Astrid.....Can I tell you something?"
"Sure, what is it?"
"Ever since I was little, I've had a crush on you..." Hiccup said, blushing.
Astrid blushed too, before saying, "And I've had a crush on you..."
Hiccup then stood up and kissed her, and she kissed him back.
