HTTYD ONE SHOT BOOK

Astrid sick

It's just me Beth, your local HTTYD fangirl/ author. XD

So this was requested by FireDragon20! Okay so I know season 5 isn't out yet....Okay it wasn't when I started this *coughs* Anyway...I hope you like it!

Summary: After Krogan and the dragon fliers forced the Riders to leave the Edge, they followed them to Berk.... And as a result there was a battle (Well duh of course there's a battle! *coughs* Sorry). But after the battle and the dragon fliers retreat: Astrid falls ill and it's up to Hiccup to take care of her.

After the battle..........

Hiccup was taking care of Toothless' saddle when suddenly he heard someone sneeze. He turned to see Astrid, rubbing her nose.

"Astrid are you okay?" Hiccup asked.

"What? I'm *cough* fine." Astrid responded.

"No. I don't think you are." Hiccup stated, walking over to her.

Astrid sneezed again. Hiccup then put a hand on her forehead. He pulled back cause of the heat of her skin.

"You're burning up Astrid. Let's get you home." Hiccup said, wrapping an arm around her shoulder and began to lead her to her family's hut on Berk.

None of the other Hofferson's were home at that current moment. So Hiccup lead Astrid to her bedroom and made her lay down while he made a tea out of willow bark to help lower her fever.

"Here. Drink this. Careful. It's hot." Hiccup said,handing her the glass.

................

He stayed with her for hours. It was night time when her fever broke.

After that she slept peacefully. Hiccup decided to stay with her until her family came home. He sat at Astrid's desk. After a bit, he fell asleep at her desk.

The next morning....

The Hofferson's walked through the door and went to see if Astrid was home. They saw Astrid asleep in bed with a bucket full of water, a cloth, a mug still half full with willow bark tea in it, and other things used to lower a fever, next to her bed. Then her mother looked over and saw Hiccup asleep at Astrid's desk.

"Looks like he took care of her." she whispered to her husband.

Mr. Hofferson looked over towards Astrid's desk, "Yup it does. Let them sleep."

Mrs. Hofferson nodded and they left the room, leaving them to sleep.

That's a good and bad thing.........

So I have one more to finish writing......then I have two other requests that I got in like May.....That I still have to do........ *sighs*
