You made it all better

Motel night

Now I'm in this motel. There are mosquitoes everywhere. I'm glad I brought Masy with me, because it makes me feel safer. Damon keeps calling me, but I don't feel like picking up so I turn my phone off. I came here to think, I came here because I just don't want anyone to find me right now. If I would've stayed home they would've found me and Cassidy has the key to my house so she could even come in. I just want to be alone right now. I'm laying on the bed with Masy, I close my eyes and just listen to Masy breathing, it's like she's snoring and it makes me laugh. I fall asleep. When I wake up it's 5.30am. I try to sleep some more, but I can't so I search for a book in my bag. I find one, Safe Haven, I've read this a thousand times already but it's still a good book. Masy's still sleeping. I realise I didn't bring her any food, so I'll have to go home today. It's 7am now and I turn on my phone. I got called by Damon 7 times, Cas 4 times and even Stefan 2 times. Damon also texted me at 4.30 am.
*Elena, you don't have to talk to me, but please just answer someone so we know you are okay. I'm not going to sleep until I know you're okay.*
Jeezzz, why is it such a big drama already. I'm only gone for one night. I don't feel like texting him, but I don't feel like texting anyone else either, just not yet. I stay in bed and listen to some music, I fall asleep again. Suddenly there's a hard knock on the door and I jump out of bed.
"Who's this?" I say, not opening the door. They can't have found me, how could they?
"Elena Gilbert? It's 10am. You have to leave your room."
It's just someone from the motel. I open the door.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I'll be ready."
"5 minutes."
I nod. I don't have a lot of stuff with me anyways. I grab my bag and take Masy with me. I thank the person that's working and walk to my car. Than I start driving home, hoping no one is waiting for me there. Luckily there isn't anyone, but I can see someone has been because I see dirt on the floor. I give Masy some food and shut all the curtains. Than I go upstairs to take a shower. Someone has been here too, they have been in my room and if I look at the dirt I think they've been in the woods too. I kinda feel guilty. But I'm still not texting anyone, I still don't feel like it. So I take a shower and play my playlist. I sing as heart as I can and it's probably really bad but I don't care, I just need to sing it all off. When I get out of the shower I realise I forgot to bring clothes, so I put a towel around my body and walk to my room. When I open the door I scream. Damon's sitting there and he looks startled too. When I look at my left I see Stefan. Did he really bring Stefan here too? And Cassidy must have given them the key, I can't believe it. Masy didn't even bark, she probably didn't even look up to them. I still don't know what to say or do. After a few seconds Damon says something.
"I'm sorry we're in your room, but I saw the curtains were closed and I knew you were home and I just needed to know if you were okay. Are you okay?"
"Um, yes." I mean, what do I have to say?
"Why didn't you text any of us? Not even Cas?" That's Stefan.
I feel uncomfortable, because I'm standing here with no clothes on, only a towel to protect me. I don't say anything, I don't know what to say.
"Okay, why don't you get some clothes on first? We'll wait downstairs." Damon says. I just nod. Stefan walks past me and Damon follows.
"I was so worried." He says, but almost whispers. I look at him walking downstairs, than I swallow. That was so awkward, and it's going to be so awkward when I'm going downstairs. Anyway, I'm putting some clothes on and try to think of things to say without making it too dramatic.
