You made it all better

Under the stars and in the rain

The rest of the week, before school starts again, Damon and I hang out a lot. We went to the zoo and Damon took me to this really cute Italian restaurant. We also made pizza one night, and Stefan and Cassidy, who also hung out a lot, ate with us. It's so nice to be friends with them, we're always having a lot of fun. School's starting tomorrow, so this is the last night with no homework and no stress. Damon and I ate dinner at my place and now he's taking me to a park, because there's going to be a meteroic shower tonight and he wanted us to lay down on the grass and just look at it. I think it's so romantic. We find a good place and sit down. Damon's making sure I sit comfortable, I can lean on him and he puts his arms around my body. He's so cute. We just wait and talk, it's getting darker and the sky is beautiful. I just want to say something when he points at the sky.
"Look! I saw one!" I turn around.
"Where?"
He laughs. I turn to him again. He picks my nose.
"I think I just had your face in my mind."
I smile. Than I really see a falling star. I push Damon away to see it better, and he falls on the grass, so he's lying.
"We're looking the wrong way!" I say. Than he grabs my arm and lays me down next to him. He kisses me.
"I think this way we can see all of it."
We look at the sky and a few seconds later almost all the stars start moving. It's beautiful! I can't believe what I'm seeing. The sky is so clear. A few seconds later it stops again.
"Did you see that?!" I turn to Damon and catch him staring at me.
"I saw something way better." I feel I'm blushing.
"God, you're so beautiful."
He strokes my cheeks. I give him a short kiss, because there's people around us. Than I get up and take his hand so he has to get up too. We take a night walk and it's very romantic. I feel so in love and so alive. We're walking, and talking, and it's getting later. Suddenly I feel a drop of water on my face. I look up and it starts to rain. Damon looks at me.
"Seems like we have to run."
"No, wait."
Normally I hate rain, but I just want to be here with Damon. He looks at me and I look back at him. It starts pouring but we look at each other and smile. While he smiles he comes closer and he kisses me. I feel like I'm in another world. Damon makes me feel so good. After a few minutes it stops raining, Damon walks me home and we kiss each other goodbye.
"Goodnight my beautiful girl."
I blush.
"Goodnight Damon."
He kisses my cheek one last time. Than he leaves. I go to bed.
