You made it all better

A movie

I wake up and immediately think about what Cassidy told me last night. It took me some hours to fall asleep, because I was just so surprised. She and Stefan became a couple after Damon and I, and I know it was not so much later, but still.
Anyways, I'm happy, because it's Saturday and that means I can be with Damon all day. I'm making myself ready to leave. When I'm done I say bye to dad, he gives me a kiss.
"Rose and I are sleeping at Kheila's tonight, don't forget that. Have fun."
I actually did forget that.
"Thanks for reminding me. You have fun too." I take my keys and walk to my car. I'm so glad that I can spend the weekends with Damon and don't have to think about school that much. When I arrive the door is open, probably because he knew I was going to be there any minute. I walk in and close the door behind me.
"Damon?" I say. I get no answer. I walk further. Than Damon walks down the stairs with no shirt on. Oh my god, look at that body. I have to keep myself from staring.
"Elena, hey. I'm sorry, I just came out of the shower."
"I-it's okay. Take your time, I'll wait here."
"Okay, I'll be there in a second." He walks back upstairs, than he turns around again.
"Wait, you don't have to wait downstairs, it's okay if you come with me."
"I'm okay."
"Okay."
Than he walks further and I take a seat on the couch. Stefan comes in.
"Good morning."
"Oh, hii, good morning."
"Is he letting you wait here?"
"Yeah, but it's okay."
"You take something to drink if you want, I'm leaving. Going to the movies with Cas."
"Thanks. Have fun!"
"Thanks. You too."
I smile and Stefan leaves. After a few minutes Damon comes back downstairs. He's looking sexy, as always.
"Good morning, princess." He gives me a kiss on the cheek.
"So, what did you want to do today?"
"Actually, Stefan just told me he and Cas were going to the movies. There's this movie in the cinema right now that I really want to see, maybe we could go there?"
"Sounds like a plan. What movie is it?"
"I'm not sure if you'll like it, it's about a parallel universe."
"Well, it's not the Notebook, so I'll be fine." He pokes my nose, I smile. We get ready and than we leave. We're walking, because it's not far, he's holding my hand the whole time. We arrive and buy tickets, than we buy some popcorn and take a seat. We're almost the only ones sitting here.
"You know, at first I didn't know what to think when Stefan came to our school, but it's pretty cool and I really think Cas and Stefan are happy." I say.
"You're bringing up Stefan and Cassidy a lot today." I just look away, but than I turn to him.
"Yeah, you know, Cassidy told me yesterday that she and Stefan spent a night at hers, and, I don't know, it just feels like... I mean, we got together before them, it was not long before them, but still. It feels weird or so, I don't know. Maybe I should just shut up, this doesn't make any sense."
He smiles.
"No you shouldn't, it's cute. But seriously, I knew it! Stefan was acting weird for a while and if I asked him why he was, he didn't answer."
I look at him. He looks at me and he smirks.
"So, they've come further than us."
I feel jitters in my stomach, the thoughts in my head make me feel weird, but I'm going to say it anyway, because I know that I mean it.
"Yeah, so I was thinking..." I come closer and whisper in his ear.
"Maybe we should do something about that."
He lifts his eyebrows.
"I like where your thoughts are heading, princess."
"But first, you have to stop calling me that."
He lifts my chin and kisses me. Than the movie starts.
